The Travel Grants

We have got three travel grants up for grabs at £3,000, £1,500, and £750, which can be put towards any Gap 360 trip, or trips, of your choice. You can choose any trip we offer, anywhere in the world, for any length of time.

The aim of the grant is to encourage and inspire students to explore the world and expand their own personal horizons, as well as helping others see the many positives of travelling for future life and employment.

Am I Eligible?

If you are a full time student at the time of application, then yes! The grants are all non-means tested, so any student can apply for them.

You can also apply as a team to receive the grant, but please specify when applying.

You must produce a report of the trip and take plenty of photos. No previous blogging or photography experience is required.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for 3 students who are passionate about going travelling to go and try any of our 200 amazing trips around the world, from volunteering on a game reserve in South Africa, exploring Thailand, working in Australia or anything else you may have dreamed of doing.

The trip you want to do must be something you're enthusiastic about, and that passion needs to come across in the application. It doesn't matter where you want to go, or what you want to do, we want you to apply for the adventure you've always dreamed of!

We'll just need you to report back to us on the trip while your away and after you get back home, to let us know how much of amazing time you had, and we'll share you experience through the Gap 360 website, to inspire others to follow in your footsteps.

The Application Process

We're looking for students who haven't necessarily travelled the world, but are passionate about travel and can articulate how they would benefit from the Gap 360 grant. Here's how you can apply...

Stage One

Decide which Gap 360 programmes you would like to be considered for and register your interest by completing the online application form.

Stage Two

We'll get in touch with the shortlisted applicants to find out a bit more about them, where they want to go and why they want to go there.

Stage Three

The remaining applicants will have a phone interview with the Travel Grant team.
