Gap 360 is a leading UK specialist in gap years and adventure travel, based in an open plan office in Tunbridge Wells, just 5 minutes from the station, right in the centre of town.

We need a bright team player to join our travel operations team. You will need to show a high level of customer service by responding to calls/emails from our customers with questions on their travel plans and arrangements. This is a very varied and fast paced office role where you will help manage our customers bookings from when they book on until after they return from their travels. 

You'll need to be:

  • Excellent at administration and well organised with a strong attention to detail
  • A fast learner with an ability to multi-task
  • A good communicator with a natural phone manner

Salary is negotiable depending on your experience, and there are excellent benefits including travel discounts, 25 days holiday, and a pension. Prospects for advancement are good too!

PHP Web Developer

Gap 360 Ltd is a leading tour operator specialising in gap year travel for young adults. We need another PHP web developer to join the team. You'll be developing websites and maintaining existing sites, and there is a lot of opportunity for personal growth.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Development of websites using PHP 7+, MySQL, JavaScript ES6, JQuery & Ajax (OOP techniques would be useful)
  • Creation of fully responsive pages using HTML5 & CSS3 (SASS & Bootstrap)
  • Utilising JSON/XML web services & APIs
  • Managing source code with GIT (GIT Kraken/Source Tree/Sublime Merge etc...)
  • Keeping track of work via Club House (similar to JIRA)

Bonus points if you've got experience with:

  • Laravel
  • VueJS
  • Linux virtual machines
  • Package managers; Composer & NPM
