Your amazing adventure begins with the one and only Bangkok. Cruise down canals on longtail boats, explore ancient temples, learn to cook Thai-style and party the night away on Khao San Road. Next up it’s Khao Sok National Park. Go tubing, kayaking and hiking through the lush heart of the park, and stay in a floating bungalow and a jungle treehouse (100% as cool as it sounds!) A trip to Thailand wouldn’t be complete without some time on its stunning islands. Hop on the boat to the party isle of Koh Phangan for dazzling white sands and swaying palms. Take a snorkelling trip, learn some Muay Thai, get a traditional massage, and relaxxxxx. The next slice of paradise is pretty Phi Phi, for jungle hikes, a speedboat trip and some seriously big nights out. We’ve just got time to squeeze in one more gorgeous island – lively Phuket, where you can enjoy the world class beaches and visit an amazing elephant sanctuary.
First stop in Cambodia is Phnom Penh. Learn all about Cambodia’s tragic history at S21 Prison and the Killing Fields. Then head to the dreamy riverside town of Kampot for river tubing, sunset boat trips, pepper plantation visits and a Khmer cooking class. Next, hop on a boat to the stunning island of Koh Rong. Think swaying palms and turquoise seas. Take a boat trip round the island’s best swimming and snorkelling spots, dance the night away under the stars at our beach party, and feel any tension melt away with a Khmer massage. Then make tracks for Siem Reap, for floating village visits, and a bucket-list biggie – sunrise over Angkor Wat – just amazing.
The busting streets of historic Hanoi are your intro to this Asian giant. Take a rickshaw tour of the Old Quarter, pick up some souvenirs on the famous “36 streets” and slurp some pho with the locals. Head to the atmospheric hill station of Sapa for misty mountain views and some world-class trekking. Hike through rugged valleys, past emerald green paddy fields, and stay with a local family for a real insight into rural life. Next, it’s another bucket-list alert, with an overnight boat trip on Ha Long Bay (on a luxury boat with hot tub – this is living!) Back on dry land, make tracks for beautiful Ninh Binh for bike rides, riverboat trips and the spectacular Dragon Mountain Viewpoint. Then we’ll save time with a short flight to the ancient town of Hoi An where you can try your hand at crab-catching, watch a traditional bamboo show, and spend a day on a local beach. Take another flight to the charming chaos of Ho Chi Minh City. Explore the city’s banging nightlife before slowing it right down in the Mekong Delta. Visit floating markets, see how life here revolves around the waterways, and spend the night in a local family’s home. Wrap up your Vietnam experience with another day in Ho Chi Minh City, learning about the Vietnam War in the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels, before one more big HCMC night out.
Welcome to beautiful Bali where tropical beaches are available on demand! Your first stop is the stylish resort of Seminyak, where the boutique shopping and chic beach bars are as good as the scenery. Then follow the good vibes down the coast to groovy Canggu. Take a surf lesson with some local pros and bum around on the beach with the hipsters. Next up it’s lovely Lovina with a stop at some majestic temples and a waterfall on the way. Meet some local families, learn the traditional Balinese art of basket weaving, go on a dolphin spotting trip and get a taste of how the 1% live with a stay in a pimped out private villa! Meet the cheeky locals at Monkey Forest in Ubud, learn how to cook Balinese food, and take an unforgettable trek up a volcano at dawn. Next, hop on the fast ferry to the idyllic island of Gili Trawangan for jaw-dropping views, white sands, and an incredible boat cruise around all three of the Gilis. Then it’s back to the fast ferry for two nights on gorgeous Nusa Lembongan, where you’ll take a private boat round the island, stopping to snorkel with majestic manta rays! Finish up with one last night in a hip beach club resort in Seminyak.

Explore the charming Old Quarter by tuk tuk and chill on the beach before heading to Dambulla for glamping, river cruises and visits to the Buddha filled Golden Temple Cave, and the imposing Sigiriya Rock. Next stop is colourful Kandy, where we’ll visit a fragrant spice garden and the sacred Temple of the Tooth. Then we’ll stop at a tea plantation and a cascading waterfall before taking one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, to Ella. Soak up Ella’s laid-back vibe, hike up Little Adam’s Peak, and fill your Insta with pics from the breath-taking Nine Arches Bridge. Then, how does one of Asia’s premier wildlife locations sound? Udawalawe National Park is home to wild elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and countless species of bird. Take a dawn safari before making your way back to the coast with a night in pretty Dikwalla. Then hop down the coast to our eco resort in stunning Tallala, learn to surf on laid-back Welligama Beach and finish up in Mirissa – one of the prettiest beach resorts in the whole of Sri Lanka. Next, you’ll board a traditional banca boat, ready for an epic three-day boat trip. Cruise through jewel-like waters, snorkel with thousands of colourful fish and spend two nights on desert islands, under skies full of stars. The boat trip ends on Palawan. Spend three nights blissing out in exquisite El Nido, soaking up the sun, taking a jeep tour of the island and enjoying a traditional Filipino massage – it’s heaven on Earth.
Borneo is a special destination, especially for animal-lovers. Kick off with a night in Kota Kinabalu, before making tracks to sleepy little Tambatuon for a night in a traditional homestay. Travel on to the Kinabatangan River for three nights in an atmospheric jungle lodge where you’ll take an evening croc-spotting cruise, a dawn river safari and venture into the jungle with your guide to look for monkeys and pygmy elephants. This trip is designed with your safety and wellbeing in mind. As a result of Covid-19, many of our suppliers and partners around the world are introducing new policies and procedures surrounding health and safety in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. As the state of travel is evolving these new safety measures will adapt over time, and will be different for each trip. Here are some of the changes you may see on your trip:
Arrival safety meetings
Most trips have an arrival meeting on the first day where the guide or local team will run through the trip, the safety protocols, and to answer any questions you may have. Now more than ever it is important you arrive in time for these meetings.
Proof of vaccination or negative covid test
For the safety of all travellers, at the start of some trips you may be required to show evidence that you are fully vaccinated (14 days after your second dose) and/or show evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the tour start date in order to join the programme.
Updated hygiene and safety procedures
Our suppliers and partners have health and safety procedures in place on all of our trips. These protocols will be updated and adapted as a response to the Coronavirus outbreak, dependent on local restrictions and laws.
Transport and accommodation choices
Our suppliers and partners choose the accommodation and transport on our trips very carefully, and you may see a change to what would normally be used as a response to the outbreak. This may involve such changes as enhanced use of private transport or quieter accommodation.
Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.
Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.
24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.
It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
