Why go on a gap year? Our definition of taking a gap is taking time out to do something fun, exciting, different and memorable. The duration of that gap is entirely up to you. It could be anything from a couple of weeks to a couple of years; it's simply taking a break from your normal routine to experience some of the amazing things that this world has to offer.

Everyone has their own reasons for choosing to take a gap year, although you may not yet be sure where to go or have yet worked out what activities you want to plan in to your gap year or what you want to do.
