Day 1: Begin in Ho Chi Minh City
One of the greatest adventures of your life starts today in Ho Chi Minh City. Meet your trip leader and new group of mates for the first time, with a free evening for you to get a taste of Ho Chi Minh City's incredible food and legendary nightlife!
Day 2: Mekong Delta
Today we're taking a scenic journey along the Mekong Delta with a traditional boat ride, soaking in views of the floating markets and peaceful rivers. From visiting local artisan factories to sipping rice whisky, it's one unmissable adventure after another. This evening, we'll settle into our authentic homestay, enjoy a delicious group dinner and listen to live music.
Day 3: Củ Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City
Crawl through the famous Củ Chi Tunnels, an underground network dug by Vietnamese resistance fighters. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and explore on your terms this afternoon, whether you fancy some tasty street food, trying Vietnamese egg coffee or doing some more sightseeing. When night falls, how about a bar crawl down Bui Vien Walking Street?
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang
Discover Ho Chi Minh City's most iconic landmarks. Later today, we're flying to a coastal paradise called Nha Trang, famed for its beachside bars and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a free evening to unwind on the sandy stretches and dip into the nightlife.
Day 5: Nha Trang
Choose your adventures today. Whether you fancy some beach time, treating yourself at the spa or signing up for an optional snorkelling cruise, it's your call. Tonight we'll hop on an overnight train. Next stop, Hoi An!
Day 6: Hoi An
Wake up in Hoi An, one of the most stunning cities in Asia! Today we'll go for a relaxed bicycle ride around the lantern-lit streets. Dig into Hoi An at your own pace this afternoon. Why not pick up a new custom wardrobe at the tailors, or roll up your sleeves with an optional cooking class?
Day 7: Hoi An
Spend the day freely exploring Hoi An. Maybe you're craving a chilled morning at a rooftop café, exploring the artisan markets or relaxing at the nearby beaches. As an optional extra, today you can try the famous bamboo basket boat ride.
Day 8: Hanoi
Say hello to Hanoi! Today, we'll take a flight and transfer over to Vietnam's capital city, best known for its iconic nightlife and historic Old Quarter. Grab a delicious lunch at a restaurant supporting young people in the local community. Then get ready to explore Hanoi's biggest highlights!
Day 9: Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh will have you falling in love at first sight. Escape into the heart of rural Vietnam, from towering mountain peaks to lush rice terraces. Whether you fancy a hike or kicking back and letting the views do the talking, the choice is yours!
Day 10: Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay
Rise and shine for one of the most beautiful sunrises of your life! Climb 500 steps to reach the top of the Lying Dragon Mountain viewpoint early this morning. Speaking of breathtaking views, we're heading to Ha Long Bay later on. Set sail on an overnight cruise. Explore Ti Top Island, enjoy optional kayaking, and soak in the sunset scenery over dinner.
Day 11: Ha Long Bay and Hanoi
Enjoy the enchanting landscapes of Ha Long Bay over breakfast. Then dig deep into the Sung Sot Caves, promising unique rock formations around every corner. Head back to Hanoi later with a free evening in the city.
Day 12: Hanoi to Ha Giang Loop
Ready to experience Vietnam's most epic journey? Pick up some snacks and get the playlist ready as we hit the road for the Ha Giang Loop. Today we'll be travelling in a comfortable overnight bus.
Day 13: Ha Giang Loop
Dive into some of the most jaw-dropping terrain of your life. Picture bright emerald valleys and winding mountain roads as we ride along in vehicles with expert local drivers taking the wheel. Every route is the scenic one here, but there's something about viewpoints like Tham Ma Slope and Heaven Gate that makes your head turn! As part of today's experience, we'll also pay a visit to a community project that supports the livelihoods of local H'mong women. Here we'll learn all about how artisan fabrics are woven using traditional techniques.
Day 14: Sky Path and Nho Que River
Take a trek along the Sky Path, famed for its rugged peaks and unbeatable 360 views. Experience local life inside the traditional Hmong villages before heading to Tu San Canyon for lunch with a view. Cruise along the famously bright turquoise waters before setting up camp right by the Nho Que River... Can life get any cooler than this?
Day 15: Nho Que River and Dong Van
Spend the morning kayaking along the Nho Que River. After lunch, immerse yourself in the local culture by listening to a special performance played on a sacred instrument. Finish the day on a high with one last trek to Dong Cao Fortress.
Day 16: Ha Giang Loop to Hanoi
It's almost time to say goodbye, but first, we have one final journey planned back along the iconic Ha Giang Loop, with a stop off at Du Gia Waterfall. Back in Hanoi, our trip finishes upon arrival tonight.
Accommodation is not included for Day 16, and we recommend booking a place to stay for the night due to the late arrival. Please contact a travel advisor for more details if this is something you are interested in us organising for you.

Accommodation
This trip includes 15 nights of accommodation. You will spend 8 nights at hotels in twin-share rooms, 2 nights at traditional homestays in multi-share rooms as part of the Ha Giang Loop, 1 night of twin-share camping by the stunning Nho Que river, and 2 nights are spent at special stays in twin-share rooms, including 1 night of overnight sailing in Ha Long Bay and an overnight homestay by the Mekong Delta. For seamless travel, 1 overnight bus and 1 overnight train are included.

Arrival Information:
This trip starts on day 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, with a welcome meeting at around 6pm. Airport transfers are not included.
This trip finishes upon arrival in Hanoi on day 16 at around 11pm. Accommodation is not included for day 16, however, this can easily be arranged through us. Please contact a travel advisor for more details.
