14-Day Sun, Sea, Sail & Surf Tour

Climb aboard your comfortable, air-conditioned coach and head down the sparkling east coast of Oz. Your coach has USB power sockets and free on-board WiFi so you can keep in touch with all your mates at home and make them jealous about your incredible adventure! As you roll into each stunning destination you can watch on board movies, play cards with your fellow travellers, or just sit back and get some kip! Bring it on Australia!

This trip also runs in reverse from Cairns to Sydney.

Day 1: Crescent Head: Early start in Sydney. Wine tasting and tour in amazing Hunter Valley. Stay at surf camp at Crescent Head.

Day 2: Crescent Head & Byron Bay: Inclusive surf lesson in the morning, and a BBQ lunch. Travel to Byron Bay.

Day 3: Byron Bay: A walking tour and free time to discover the delights of laid-back Byron Bay. Optional activities include surfing, skydiving, scuba diving, hang gliding and sea kayaking.

Day 4: Gold Coast: Stop off at the ‘Natural Bridge’ on a rainforest walk en route to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Free afternoon: Optional activities include whale-watching, island cruise or 4WD tours. Night out on the town with your group!

Day 5: Brisbane & Fraser Island: Walking tour of Brisbane & free time in the city, followed by a ferry to your amazing resort on fabulous Fraser Island.

Day 6: Fraser Island: See the rainforests, beaches and lakes of the world’s largest sand island today on a guided 4-wheel drive trip around Fraser Island. See the Pinnacle Coloured Sands, the Maheno Shipwreck, Eli Creek, Central Station’s rainforest wonders and Lake McKenzie!

Day 7: Outback Farmstay: Head outback into the bush to stay on a family-run cattle station at Myella Farm. Enjoy traditional ranch activities, cool off in the pool and swap stories with the owners over dinner as you learn about outback living. The farm also looks after orphaned kangaroos so you may just spend your evening cuddling with a joey!

Day 8: Emu Park: Enjoy optional activities at your outback farm stay, including motorbiking, milking cows or horse riding. Travel to the coastal town of Emu Park for a 2-hr Aboriginal cultural experience. Relax or play a game of beach cricket before an included group dinner.

Day 9: The Whitsundays: Journey to Airlie Beach and hop on board a private yacht and sail overnight around the wonderful Whitsunday Islands. Swim, snorkel or learn some sailing techniques with the crew.

Day 10: Daydream Island: Spend another day swimming, snorkelling and lazing on the beautiful beaches in the Whitsundays before heading to your resort on idyllic Daydream Island.

Day 11: Daydream Island: Relax and explore Daydream Island. Optional activities include walking trails, mini-golf, tennis or watersports, or simply chill on secluded beaches.

Please Note: As a result of Cyclone Debbie, Daydream Island is closed until further notice. On day 10, you will return to Airlie beach following your Whitsundays overnight trip. On day 11 you will transfer to Magnetic Island and stay at a beautiful island hotel. Here you will enjoy an included tour through Bungalow Bay Wildlife Park. Day 12: Cairns: Travel along the East Coast into Cairns, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Shop at the Night Markets or sample the awesome nightlife.

Day 13: Cairns: A free day to enjoy all that Cairns has to offer! The adventure capital of Australia has amazing optional activities including white water rafting, ziplining, horse riding, skydiving, bungy jumping, quad biking or hot air ballooning!

Reef Add-On

Why not complete the adventure with a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef? See Australia’s magnificent natural wonder and get up close to fish and coral with this fantastic add-on experience!

Climb aboard a private catamaran and cruise over to the idyllic bird sanctuary of Michaelmas Cay National Park. Sea turtles, bat fish, and reef sharks all swim around this gorgeous white-sand island, and you’ll be able to snorkel and dive straight from the shore into the clear waters. Then head over to an exclusive section of the reef for some perfect, undisturbed snorkelling. Round off the experience by tucking into a tasty lunch of seafood and tropical fruit – all prepared by the onboard chef! Luxury!

Tours depart at 8am and return to Cairns at around 5pm.

Day 14: Cairns: A final, free day to explore Cairns and have some last-minute fun before your trip ends this evening.

Please contact us to book the additional Reef Add-On in Cairns, or if you would like to do the Cairns Adventure before the Cairns to Sydney tour option. Due to scheduled maintenance the White Water Rafting on the Cairns Adventure will not operate between the 31st October and 10th November. An alternative activity will take place.
