Days 3-5 - Surf, eat, repeat! Learn how to catch a wave in the morning alongside your expert pro guide and take part in ‘surf expression’ during the afternoon. Listen to music, kick back and relax or engage in a range of super fun activities on the beach - you’ll be living like a true surfer in no time.

Day 6 - Depart wonderful Spot X Surf and let your hair down around gorgeous Byron for a beachy afternoon stroll. Your trip ends here!

Arrival information

You'll need to be at Central Station in Sydney for 6:45am to catch a train from Sydney to Coffs Harbour that departs at 7:08am. Because of this we recommend that you arrive into Sydney the day before your trip start date.

The trip ends in Byron Bay late on your end date at around 8pm. We recommend booking your onwards travel plans out of Byron Bay for the following day.

Accommodation & meals

After your overnight luxury bus journey to Spot X, you’ll be staying at Spot X Surf Camp in beachfront shared dorms - a hidden gem housing 6 to 8 surfers. Living directly across from the beach means you will be living the true surfing lifestyle, and will have a beautiful place to hang out after plenty of surfing and sunbathing throughout the day. There are numerous additional activities you can get involved in at the camp including volleyball, beach soccer, beach cricket and kayaking. In the evenings, catch up with friends around the cosy campfire, play games or gather everyone together and hit the beach for a party.

All meals while staying at the surf camp are included and generously prepared by the chefs onsite. There is a variety of food to choose from including Mexican, Italian, BBQs and roasts - all served alongside salad and bread. The surf camp caters for specific dietary require-ments too. You can also help yourself to water, juice and coffee served at mealtimes.

Minimum age & eligibility

We have a minimum age requirement of 18, and all visitors to Australia (excepting those from New Zealand) will require a visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) to enter. These must be applied for before departure, and if you’re planning on working in Australia whilst you’re out here, you’ll need a Working Holiday Visa. If you are just heading to Australia for fun however, an ETA should suffice. Both visas can be applied for online.

Visa rules and regulations are subject to change. Please check the relevant embassy websites for up to date information.
