DAY 3: Paris to Swiss Alps, Switzerland.

DAY 4: Swiss Alps.

DAY 16: Venice to Pag Island, Croatia via Slovenia.
Visit the unusual Postojna Caves in Slovenia, then travel to idyllic Pag Island in Croatia.
DAYS 17-18: Pag Island.
Chill out, swim and laze on beaches on Pag Island and sample the exciting island nightlife in the summer months!
DAY 19: Pag Island to Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Explore the quaint city of Ljubljana.
DAY 20: Ljubljana to Austrian Alps, Austria.
Stop off at stunning Lake Bled en route to the awesome Austrian Alps.
DAY 21: Austrian Alps.
It’s an adrenaline-seekers dream with optional activities in the Austrian Alps, such as skydiving, paragliding and mountain-biking.
DAY 22: Austrian Alps to Prague, Czech Republic.
A serious stop first thing, in Mauthausen, a former concentration camp. Then on to the gorgeous, gothic city of Prague for a walking tour.
DAY 23: Prague.
A free day today to discover the delights of this vibrant Eastern European city.
DAY 24: Prague to Berlin, Germany.
Travel to Berlin, via Dresden, and into Germany’s vibrant capital city.
DAY 25: Berlin.
Take a Third Reich tour or see the Berlin Wall, then enjoy the famous Berlin nightlife!
DAY 26: Berlin to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Stop off at a farm to learn about cheese and clogs, two iconic products of the Netherlands, before taking a tour of Amsterdam, which ends in the notorious Red Light District.
DAY 27: Amsterdam.
Enjoy a farewell dinner cruise through Amsterdam’s canals.
DAY 28: Amsterdam to London.
Take the ferry back from Calais to England then end your Grand European tour back in the city of London, where you’ll say farewell to your group.

This trip starts in London. You will need to make your own way to London and be at the joining hostel by 6am, ready to check in, in time for a 7am departure. Due to the early start, you may wish to pre-book a night at the hostel for the night before. We can help you make this arrangement.
The trip ends in London, at approximately 8-8.30pm, at the same hostel you departed from.
Your trip will include staying at a variety of accommodations, which includes 17 nights in hostels, 8 nights in bungalows at European campsites and 2 nights in an Austrian Gasthof.
You will be staying in same sex, multi-share accommodation (4-6 per room) in the hostels & Gasthof and in twin or double-share rooms in the bungalow and hotel accommodation.
Breakfasts are included every day (except on the first morning). Also included are 6 lunches, and 13 dinners. Some of these meals will be prepared by our On Site Chefs, and some by local restaurants and accommodation places.
If you have special dietary requirements e.g. vegetarian or wheat intolerance, we will make every endeavour to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise us when you book. Please be aware that in some countries, particularly in Eastern Europe, it is more difficult to cater for dietary requirements, but we will always try our best to arrange it. However, we cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu.
The age requirements for this trip is 18 - 39 years.
Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the last day of your trip. Some countries will refuse entry if there is not at least 6 months validity on your passport after your departure date from their country. Depending on your nationality, you may require a visa to enter certain countries. It is your responsibility to obtain these prior to the departure of the trip. Please note if you are a British passport holder you do not need any visas to visit Europe.
