Further trip information

Day 1: London to Paris (France). Meet the gang in London and head to Dover, where we’ll wave goodbye to Blighty for 2 weeks and cross the channel to France. Arrive in Paris and explore the city’s highlights on a magical twilight tour. From the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre, it’s wall to wall iconic.

Day 2: Paris. You’ve got a whole day to explore Paris’ elegant boulevards, chic boutiques, and classic bistros. Tonight, head to Montmartre for an optional Parisian feast, then get your can can on at a traditional cabaret show.

Day 3: Paris to Beaujolais region. Au revoir Paris! Pay a visit to the stunning Chateau Fontainebleau, before continuing to our own super boujie chateau in the heart of wine country! Take a dip in the pool before a delish French banquet. Then party all night in legendary onsite nightclub ‘Le Cave’.

Day 4: Beaujolais wine region to French Riviera. Get ready for more fabulousness as we roll on to the Gallic home of glamour – the French Riviera. Known for its azure water, perfect beaches and super yachts, the Riviera is THE place to see and be seen.

Day 5: French Riviera. You’ve got a full day to enjoy the French Riviera. Do some celeb spotting, take a bike tour of Nice old town, or hit the beach. Tonight we’re making tracks for Monaco. Hit the blackjack tables with the high rollers, check out the mega yachts and party like Grace Kelly!

Day 6: French Riviera to Florence via Pisa (Italy). Hop over the border to bella Italia today. Make a quick stop at the leaning tower of Pisa for that perfect Insta pic, pick up your first of many gelatos, and hop back on the coach to beautiful Florence.  Tonight, tuck into an optional Tuscan feast.

Day 7: Florence to Rome. You’ve got the morning to explore this Tuscan gem at your own pace. Then hit the highway to Rome where we’ll take a walking tour of the capital by night. We’re talking pizza, gelato and jaw-dropping sights – what’s not to love?

Day 8: Rome. Rome’s your oyster today. Take an optional guided tour of the Vatican, walk in the footsteps of the gladiators at the Colosseum, or sample La Dolce Vita with a Peroni or two on one of the pretty piazzas. Who’s up for pizza tonight?

Day 9: Rome to Venice. Rome, you’ve been legendary, but we’ve got one more Italian city on the menu and it’s a peach! Take a traditional motoscafo across the lagoon, ride a gondola through the backwaters, or explore Venice on an Insta-friendly walking tour.

Day 10: Venice to Munich (Germany). Wind through the Austrian Alps on the way to Munich. Take a wander around the old town (don’t miss the glockenspiel!), or explore on two wheels with an optional bike tour. This evening, don your lederhosen before tapping up the city’s famous beer halls.

Day 11: Munich to Rhine Valley via Dachau. Auf wiedersehen Munich! We’re journeying to the Rhine Valley but we’ve got a very important stop on the way. Get an insight into the atrocities of WWII in Dachau before spending the evening in Sankt Goar, a pretty town on the banks of the Rhine.

Day 12: Rhine Valley to Amsterdam via Edam (Netherlands). Sleep off last night’s vino as we make our way to the Netherlands. Stop at Edam where we’ll go full Dutch with a bike tour, and stops at a cheese farm and a clog maker’s – souvenirs, sorted! Our last stop is the ‘Dam – drop your bags and go large!

Day 13: Amsterdam. It’s our last full day today so let’s turn the fun factor up to ten with a ride on Europe’s highest swing or a canal cruise through the city’s historic core. Tonight, enjoy an optional dinner in 1ste Klas restaurant, before hitting the beers with your buds.

Day 14: Amsterdam to London. It’s time to climb on the coach one last time as we truck back through Belgium to Calais and over the channel to Dover. We’ll leave you in London, where you can say your goodbyes and start planning your next adventure!

Covid safety

This trip is designed with your safety and wellbeing in mind. As a result of Covid-19, many of our suppliers and partners around the world are introducing new policies and procedures surrounding health and safety in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. As the state of travel is evolving these new safety measures will adapt over time, and will be different for each trip. Here are some of the changes you may see on your trip:

Arrival safety meetings
Most trips have an arrival meeting on the first day where the guide or local team will run through the trip, the safety protocols, and to answer any questions you may have. Now more than ever it is important you arrive in time for these meetings.

Proof of vaccination or negative covid test
For the safety of all travellers, at the start of some trips you may be required to show evidence that you are fully vaccinated (14 days after your second dose) and/or show evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the tour start date in order to join the programme.

Updated hygiene and safety procedures
Our suppliers and partners have health and safety procedures in place on all of our trips. These protocols will be updated and adapted as a response to the Coronavirus outbreak, dependent on local restrictions and laws.

Transport and accommodation choices
Our suppliers and partners choose the accommodation and transport on our trips very carefully, and you may see a change to what would normally be used as a response to the outbreak. This may involve such changes as enhanced use of private transport or quieter accommodation.

Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.

Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.

Healthcare
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.

24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.

It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
