Day 1: Arrive in Sydney. Arrive in Sydney and make your way to your hostel. There are no activities scheduled for today, so settle in or head out to explore buzzing Sydney.
Day 2: Sydney to Barrington Tops. Depart Sydney at 8am and sip wine in the vineyards of the Hunter Valley. Overnight stay in stunning Barrington Tops National Park. Go inner tubing, fishing or wildlife spotting! Dinner included.
Day 3: Barrington Tops to Surf Camp. Explore beautiful Barrington Tops National Park and then visit a Koala Hospital to meet these cute and iconic animals. Your next destination is surf camp where you’ll enjoy an inclusive surf lesson - surf's up! Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 4: Surf Camp to River Camp. Go off the beaten track and swim in the stunning inlet of Solitary Islands Marine Park. Camp out in this remote and wonderful place! Breakfast and dinner included.
Please note: If you are travelling during the Australian winter months, you will enjoy a slightly different experience. You will stay at a beautiful community campsite on the Nymboida River, where you’ll enjoy an Aussie BBQ and a fantastic kayaking experience.
Day 5: River Camp to Byron Bay. Make tracks for the legendary surfing and arts town of Byron Bay. On your way, stop off in the charming town of Yamba and enjoy a dip in the Angourie Blue Pool. Breakfast included.
Day 6: Free day in Byron Bay. There's so much to do in Byron Bay, you can spend this free day making the most of all the activities on offer, or just chill and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
Day 7: Byron Bay to Rainbow Beach via Brisbane. Explore the headlands at Danger Point, before driving along the Gold Coast into Brisbane. Cruise along the Sunshine Coast to Noosa. Arrive in Rainbow Beach, gateway to famous Fraser Island. Dinner included.
Days 8 & 9: Fun on Fraser Island. Enjoy 2 unforgettable days of 4x4 tour fun on Fraser Island and return to Rainbow Beach for dinner on the evening of day 9. 1 breakfast, 2 lunches and 2 dinners included.
Day 10: Relax in Rainbow Beach. Spend the day relaxing in Rainbow Beach.
Day 11: Rainbow Beach to Emu Park. Travel by bus and train to Rockhampton and on to the beautiful coastal town of Emu Park.
Day 12: Emu Park to Airlie Beach. Visit a crocodile farm this morning and spend the afternoon chilling by the pool. Catch an overnight train towards Airlie Beach.
Day 13: Whitsunday Islands. Go on an incredible Whitsundays Islands day cruise. Laze on Whitehaven Beach, go on guided walks and snorkel among stunning coral reefs. Return to Airlie for another night of partying and fun. Lunch included.
Day 14: Airlie Beach to Magnetic Island. Take a ferry to tropical Magnetic Island. Nearly 50% of Magnetic Island is National Park, and the island boasts amazing beaches and abundant wildlife.
Day 15: Free day on Magnetic Island. Spend another day relaxing and soaking up the sun on tropical Magnetic Island.
Day 16: Magnetic Island to Tully. Depart Magnetic Island and head to Tully for an incredible Rainforest Experience. Visit a swimming hole at the edge of the rainforest before spending the night in a historic country pub. Does life get any better than this?
Day 17: Tully to Cairns. This morning, you will rise early to climb to the top of Mt Tyson! This stunning mountain is blanketed with gorgeous rainforest and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Then, it’s back to the pub for a champagne breakfast! A train then takes you from Tully to Cairns, your final destination, where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Breakfast included.
Day 18: Cairns. Free time to relax or try optional adventure activities in Cairns. No meals included.
Day 19: Fly from Cairns-Alice Springs. Please note that flights are at an extra cost and you are responsible for booking flights yourself before you travel.
Day 20: Alice Springs to Uluru. Visit a camel farm and then explore awesome Uluru and camp under the stars. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 21: Uluru & Kata Tjuta to Kings Canyon. See the sun rise over Uluru and then walk in the incredible rock formations of Kata Tjuta National Park. Camp at a cattle station. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 22: Kings Canyon to Alice Springs. Walk in Kings Canyon and see the amphitheatre and lost city. Arrive in Alice Springs in the late afternoon. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 23: Alice Springs to Banka Banka Cattle Station. Depart at 6am and see the Devils Marbles en route to your overnight stay at a cattle station. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 24: Banka Banka to Mataranka. Stop at the Daly Waters Pub and soak in the Mataranka thermal pools before camping under the stars. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 25: Mataranka to Darwin. Visit Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park which is owned by the Jawoyn Aboriginal people and then end the day in Darwin. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 26: Free Day in Darwin. Unguided free day to explore this vibrant town. Meals and activities at your own expense.
Day 27: Darwin to Kakadu National Park. May - October: Visit the Mary River Wetlands & Ubirr. November - April: Ubirr visit and Aboriginal history experience. Lunch & dinner included.
Day 28: Kakadu National Park to Litchfield National Park. May - October: 4x4 journey and hike to Twin and Jim Jim Falls. November - April. Wildlife cruise on Yellow Waters billabong. Hike to Nawurlandja. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.
Day 29: Litchfield National Park to Darwin. Explore waterfalls, spring-fed streams and rugged sandstone escarpments of Litchfield. Enjoy a final evening in Darwin. Breakfast & lunch included.
Day 30: Darwin. Tour ends today in Darwin.
Please note: Entry fees to National Parks are not included. These fees must be paid to your guide on arrival. Entry fees range between AUD50 and AUD80 depending on the season. Some National Parks are free.
Please note: This is a tour package that combines exciting activities from different travel options. While your itinerary is fixed, your group and guide may change as you go, as some of your group may be travelling on different flexible itineraries.
Please note: For the majority of your time on the tour, you will travel with a maximum group size of 24 passengers. However, during your 2-day trip to Fraser Island and on your Whitsundays day cruise you may be with other travellers and therefore there may be larger group sizes on these days. These trips will be run by local guides as separate experiences.
