Day 1: Begin in Beijing
Welcome to China's capital, where ancient and urban collide. Meet your new travel crew and group leader later this evening before heading out to explore Beijing together. Starting with incredible food! From Peking duck to savoury pancakes, it's all on the menu tonight.
Day 2: Great Wall of China
You've been waiting for it... Today we're ticking off the one and only Great Wall of China. Back in Beijing, it's dinner, drinks and another unforgettable night.
Day 3: Forbidden City
Step back in time to China's dynasty eras. Picture this: ancient courtyards, hidden gardens and epic temples. All inside the largest preserved royal complex in the entire world.
Day 4: Xi'an
Explore one of China's great ancient capitals. Climb along the iconic fortress walls of Xi'an, promising 360 city views up top. Dive into local culture and try on traditional clothing if you like. Then comes the food. Those night markets? World-famous.
Day 5: Terracotta Army
Have your cameras ready for our next big hitter! The Terracotta Army is a jaw-dropping archaeological site both in scale and detail, home to over 2,000 terracotta statues. So the story goes, all these statues were buried alongside China's first emperor centuries ago. But they were only discovered in 1974 by local farmers. How crazy is that?
Day 6: Travel to Chengdu
New day, new city! Famed for its traditional lantern-lit alleyways, we have a feeling you're going to love Chengdu. Enjoy the teahouse culture and shopping before, you guessed it, another insanely tasty meal. Tonight's all about hotpots, a Sichuan Province classic. Fun fact: did you know that Chengdu was UNESCO's first-ever 'City of Gastronomy?' So when we say best food of your life... Maybe an understatement.
Day 7: Pandas in Chengdu
Giant pandas. Today speaks for itself. Visit the famous Chengdu Research Base bright and early. This is when the pandas will be at their most active. Fingers crossed we may spot a Red panda, too!
Day 8: Furong Ancient Town
Start chasing those waterfalls. Get ready for the most enchanting village you'll ever see. Traditional architecture cascades along the hilltops, meeting at the water's edge... magic. And at night, you'll actually be pinching yourself. Settle in for dinner, drinks and a light show to end all others.
Day 9: Zhangjiajie (Avatar Mountains)
Think nothing can top yesterday's views? This just might. Mountains are calling us to Zhangjiajie, famed for its thousands of impossibly high rock pillars. Catch mist in the sky and ride the world's tallest elevator. It's truly out of this world. Soak it all in with free time to explore the park today with your mates.
Day 10: Zhangjiajie exploring
One day was never gonna be enough! So today we're coming back for more. Tick the Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain off your bucket list, or enjoy all the emerald nature hikes. Your call.
Day 11: Zhangjiajie to Shanghai.
Grab those snacks and have that travel day playlist ready. Zoom through the country to reach Shanghai, China's biggest city, famed for its international culture. Drop off your bags and freshen up. Shanghai comes alive after sunset. Rooftop bars, late-night shopping and cafĂŠs (because why not go for matcha at midnight?)
Day 12: Shanghai
Our last day together, so let's make it count. At the top of your list has to be the stunning ponds at the Yu Garden, hidden away in Shanghai's Old City. Shop for final souvenirs. Fill up on Shanghai's iconic soup dumplings (Xiaolongbao) and those sweet-and-sour flavours. Tonight's vibe is one last hotpot, reminiscing over the good times shared. Here's to us!
