We’ll explore the highlights of the Aussie East Coast then it’s New Zealand where you’ve got up to 12 months to explore this stunning country at your own pace. Next, take an all-American road-trip on the West Coast. We’ll finish up with sun, sand and samba in Brazil. Bucket-list, done!

We’ll take you to the best beaches, the most pumping parties and the cultural heart of the island, Ubud, as well as the gorgeous Gili islands, just a short hop away.
AUSTRALIA - East Coast Highlights – 21 days
Discover the best of the East Coast of Australia, including stunning Sydney, hippy Byron, the iconic Surfers Paradise, vibrant Brisbane, the chilled out town of 1770, Cairns and much more. We’ll take you on a 2-night sailing adventure round the stunning Whitsunday Islands, conquer the sandy wilds of Fraser Island in a 4 x 4, visit the world famous Australia Zoo, and snorkel over the Great Barrier Reef – one of the wonders of the world.
NEW ZEALAND - Kiwi Discovery Pass – min 30 days (valid 12 months)
Travel New Zealand at your own pace with this flexible ‘hop on, hop off’ 12-month bus pass. Take a whistle-stop tour over 30-40 days or take up to a year to explore the wonders of this incredible country. The route takes in the highlights, from the bright lights of Auckland, to culturally rich Rotorua, Wellington, Abel Tasman National Park, Queenstown, Mount Cook and the set of the Hobbit. You’ll have the opportunity to go glacier hiking, white-water rafting, seal-spotting, skydiving, kayaking, wine-tasting and more, and you can start and end your tour at any point along the route.
USA - West Coast Adventure - 11 days
Soak up some sunshine on this awesome tour of the West Coast. Including LA, San Diego, Phoenix, and the counter-culture hub of San Francisco. Marvel at the wonders of the Grand Canyon, take in nature on an epic scale at Yosemite National Park and party the night away on the strip in Las Vegas. It’s a classic all-American road-trip!
BRAZIL - Introduction to Brazil – 8 days
Get a taste of South America’s biggest and boldest destination. Start in exotic Rio – one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Take a favela tour, sun yourself on Copacabana Beach, watch some capoeira and visit the iconic Christ the Redeemer. Then we’re off to idyllic Ilha Grande, a lush tropical island, just off the coast of Rio, where we’ll bliss out on the sands and take boat trips through crystal-clear waters. Last up it’s the pretty colonial town of Paraty with its many beautiful beaches, before returning to Rio to round up the trip of a lifetime.

Fly into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit), arriving between 10am-2pm. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the game reserve (1.5 hours away). Return transfers are included for departure flights after 10am on your last day.
Arrange into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport on day 1 of your tour. You’ll be met at the airport by your group leader, who will take you to your hotel and introduce you to the rest of your group. Your Thai Adventure ends back in Bangkok on day 25. Return airport transfers are not included.
Fly into Denpasar Airport on day 1 (airport transfer included). You can arrive in advance of the start date and still take up the inclusive transfer if you book extra nights of accommodation through us. If you wish to arrive before the start date, then please let us know this in advance. The Bali Intro ends in Ubud on day 12. A return airport transfer is not included but your guide can help arrange this. A transfer by minivan takes around 1.5 hours. We recommend you do not book an onward flight until around 1pm on day 12.
Arrive into Sydney in time for the first day meeting of your East Coast Highlights trip which is at 1pm on Day . We recommend arriving the day before the trip begins. Your travel adviser can give you more information about booking an extra night’s accommodation. Your airport transfer is included on arrival.
Your Aussie adventure ends on day 21 in Cairns and you can travel on any time. Return airport transfers are not included. Our flights team will help you organise onward travel to New Zealand.
You should plan your own transport to arrive in Auckland for the start of your Kiwi Discovery travel pass. As day 1 begins with an early 7am bus departure, you will need to plan your arrival into Auckland for the previous day and arrange accommodation at your own cost.
Your tour begins on day 1 in Los Angeles. Due to this, we recommend you arrive at least one day before. Extra accommodation is at your own cost and your travel adviser can help with booking. The American leg of your trip ends in San Francisco on day 11. You can depart at any time. Airport transfers are not included.
Arrive into Rio de Janeiro International Airport on day 1. An arrival transfer to your hostel is included. Your tour ends in Rio on day 8. A return airport transfer is not included but can arranged locally.
All accommodation is included, in a private game lodge with a plunge pool. Accommodation is in basic single-sex shared dorms, sleeping 4-10 people, with shared bathroom facilities. There are communal indoor and outdoor areas including a Boma (campfire) area. Internet and mobile phone network availability is limited. There are coin-operated laundry facilities on site where you can do your own laundry. We recommend that you bring a torch with you. During your downtime at the reserve camp, there are few activities available on site, so you may wish to bring books, music, DVDs, cards or games with you.
Accommodation is included for the full 24 nights of the tour. For the majority of the trip your accommodation will be in modern hostels in multi-share rooms. Meals are not included, except lunch at the Elephant Home and meals during the Hill Trek. This provides an excellent opportunity to engage with local people at restaurants and market stalls and to sample authentic local cuisine. Food in Southeast Asia is very cheap, so eating out won’t break the bank!
All your accommodation is included during the Bali Intro. The accommodation is of a great standard, with incredible swimming pools, private bathrooms, air conditioning and hot water. You'll be seriously spoilt! 8 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners are included.
You’ll be staying 13 nights in shared backpacker hostels on the East Coast of Australia including a resort, a beachfront hostel and awesome accommodation. 3 nights will be spent on an overnight bus, 2 nights sailing around the Whitsunday Islands and 2 nights camping on Fraser Island. The majority of the journeys on the tour will be by coach. The coaches used are modern and comfortable, with USB sockets, wifi (connection dependant) and reclining seats. The overnight coaches also have even more legroom (more than most airlines!), as well as reclining seats, so you'll get a great night’s sleep.
6 dinners, 4 lunches and 4 breakfasts are included on this trip. All additional meals, snacks and drinks will need to be purchased by you. Self-catering options are sometimes available, or the group often chooses to go out for a meal together. Australia is bursting with restaurants and cafes, so you’re never far from a good, cheap meal.
Accommodation and meals are not included as part of this hop-on-hop-off bus tour. Each stop-off on the bus route offers unique accommodation options, which we offer our travellers at a reasonable cost, with a typical night costing about NZD25-30 for a dorm room and NZD60-80 for a twin or double room*. We reserve accommodation in all our overnight stops, so you’ll be guaranteed one night’s accommodation in each overnight stop if you want it. If you wish to take advantage of this offer, tell your guide/driver and they will book it for you (you pay as you go).
If you wish to choose your own accommodation, or want to stay longer in any of the locations along the route, to make the most of your 12 months flexible bus pass, then you are free to select your own accommodation and your guide can help you with advice and booking.
*Please note: in peak season twin and double rooms may have limited availability.

The minimum age to join this Whole World 360 trip is 18.
Nationals of the EU, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand don’t require a visa to enter South Africa. South African Immigration does ask that you have two completely blank consecutive pages in your passport, though as long as you hold a valid passport (and a valid return ticket) you will be granted a temporary visitor’s permit on arrival, allowing visitors to stay in South Africa for up to three months. You should also ensure that your passport will still be in date for six months after you return.
British nationals can enter Thailand without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days.
A 30-day tourist visa is available on arrival in Bali, for a cost of USD35, to be paid on arrival. The visa situation in Indonesia is frequently changing. Please check www.fco.gov.uk for the latest information.
All visitors to Australia (excepting those from New Zealand) will require a visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) to enter. These must be applied for before departure, and if you’re planning on working in Australia whilst you’re out here you’ll need a Working Holiday Visa. If you are just heading to Australia for fun however, an ETA will suffice. Both visas can be applied for online. In order to drive a 4x4 on Fraser Island you must be aged 21 or over and have a full, clean, manual driving license. Otherwise, you can see the island from the passenger seat!
British nationals can stay in New Zealand for up to six months as tourists. If you are planning on working at all during your time in New Zealand, you will need to apply for a Working Holiday Visa (available to 18-30 year olds) and can do this by visiting the New Zealand Immigration website.
Visitors who are transitting through or entering New Zealand as tourists will need to hold an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) before travelling to New Zealand. Tourists will also need to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) alongside the ETA. People entering New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa do not require an ETA.
Please note the legal drinking alcohol age in the USA is 21 years. If you are under 21, you will not be permitted into pubs, bars or casinos. British Nationals visiting the USA will be able to travel (for tourism purposes) under the US Visa Waiver Programme for durations of up to 90 days. All travellers going to the United States will have to complete the ESTA form online for authorisation under the Visa Waiver Programme. Details on how to apply for this will be given to you once you have booked.
British citizens can enter Brazil for up to 90 days without a visa, so as long as they have more than 6 months validity remaining on their passport from their first day in the country.

This trip is designed with your safety and wellbeing in mind. Most trips have an arrival meeting on the first day where the guide or local team will run through the trip, the safety protocols, and to answer any questions you may have. Now more than ever it is important you arrive in time for these meetings.

Our suppliers and partners have health and safety procedures in place on all of our trips. These protocols will be updated and adapted as a response to the Coronavirus outbreak, dependent on local restrictions and laws.
Transport and accommodation choices
Our suppliers and partners choose the accommodation and transport on our trips very carefully, and you may see a change to what would normally be used as a response to the outbreak. This may involve such changes as enhanced use of private transport or quieter accommodation.
Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.
Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.
24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.
It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
