South Africa Wild Adventure: 15 days
Day 1: Arrival and Orientation.
Day 2-14: Two weeks of wildlife conservation, safaris and adventure in South Africa! Stay on a private game reserve, enjoy game drives, and see animals up close as a member of a wildlife conservation team. Volunteer with kids at local community projects, experience horseback safaris, and go on guided bushwalks through gorgeous South African landscapes. You’ll also enjoy an unforgettable 2-night camping adventure in world-famous Kruger National Park! This unique South African adventure will take your breath away!
Day 15: Volunteer & Safari Adventure ends.
Thai Adventure: 25 days
Enjoy 25 days of group exploration with an expert tour guide, immersed in the fascinating culture and beauty of Thailand. Uncover hidden city treasures in Bangkok, visit temples, explore National Parks, go adventure trekking, meet elephants, and laze on sun-drenched sands on idyllic islands. This experience is designed to show you all the sides of Thailand’s personality and is the ideal way to meet new people in amazing Asia.

Week 1: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Elephant Project & Hill Trekking
Kick off in vibrant Bangkok. Enjoy boat tours, temple visits and banging nights out. Travel to Chiang Mai overnight where you’ll take part in a cookery course, and spend time in an amazing elephant camp, helping to feed, bathe and care for the animals. Round off with a hike through the northern foothills, including bamboo rafting and a night in a rustic retreat.
Week 2: Koh Phi Phi, Mangrove Kayak Trip, Island Boat Tour & Khao Sok National Park
Fly to the glorious South, where we’ll spend 4 nights on beautiful Phi Phi. Chillax on the beach, party under the stars, and discover the surrounding islands on an epic boat trip. Transfer to Ao Nang where you’ll join a street food crawl, kayak through mangrove forests, and cruise to the paradise islands of Hong and Poda. Then head inland to the spectacular Khao Sok National Park where you’ll stay on the lake in a float-house!
Week 3: Koh Samui, Ang Thong Marine Park, & Koh Phangan
It’s back to the beach life with 3 nights on lovely Koh Samui. Bronze your bod, splash about in the sea and go ‘out out’ in Chaweng! Spend a blissful day kayaking and snorkelling in Ang Thong Marine Park, before cruising to the legendary party island of Ko Phangan. Beach, sleep, party, repeat!
Week 4: Koh Tao & Bangkok
Soak up the sun on Koh Tao for the next few days where you might opt to enjoy some of the world class diving. We’ll take a boat trip to the best snorkelling and kayaking spots as well as the stunning island of Koh Nang Yuan, before travelling back to good old Bangkok for a last night out before the Thai leg of your adventure comes to an end.
Bali Intro: 12 Days
Day 1: Arrive in Denpasar, Bali. Airport pickup. Meet the rest of your group at your guesthouse in Kuta.
Day 2: Temples & Sunsets. Temple, beach visits and night out.
Day 3: Learn to Surf. Learn how to surf in one of the world’s most exciting surfing destinations.
Day 4: Temples, Waterfalls & Rice Paddies. Visit amazing ancient temples and hand-feed wild monkeys. Stop to swim at an incredible waterfall, before arriving in the spectacular mountain surroundings of Lovina.
Day 5: Dolphins & Culture. Traditional outrigger boat excursion. Enjoy dolphin-spotting. Visit a local homestay for some Balinese basket weaving and lunch with your hosts.
Day 6: Travel to the Gorgeous Gili Islands. Visit the idyllic island of Gili Trawangan.
Day 7: Gili Island Bike Tour. Explore the island by bike.
Day 8: Snorkelling Boat Trip, Group Dinner & Party Night. Take a boat tour around all three gorgeous Gili Islands today. Tuck in to a delicious group dinner and party in paradise!
Day 9: Travel on to Ubud. Jump on a ferry bound for Ubud and prepare for the next stage of the adventure!
Day 10: Monkey Forest. Explore Monkey Forest, an incredible temple which is home to hundreds of mischievous wild monkeys.
Day 11: Sunrise Volcano Trek & Massage. Sunrise volcano trek, including breakfast cooked using the natural heat from the Volcano. Return to Ubud for an inclusive massage.
Day 12: Bali Intro Ends. Your amazing Bali Intro ends today in Ubud. Time to travel on to the next stage of your adventure!
Cairns Adventure: 6 Nights
Enjoy 6 nights of accommodation and 4 days of awesome adventure activities in Cairns! Soak up the vibes of this buzzing adventure town and get your adrenaline pumping with some incredible included activities. The 4 activity days include the following:
Day 1: Full day white water rafting on the Tully River. Departs from Cairns at 6.30am. Return transfers, training and rafting equipment, BBQ lunch included. Local payment supplement for rafting.
Day 2: Day tour of the Atherton Tablelands. Leave Cairns in the morning and spend the day touring the beautiful Atherton Tablelands, home to dense rainforests, stunning waterfalls, and some of Australia's best swimming holes, with lunch included. Arrive back in Cairns early evening for free time.
Day 3: Balloon flight. Early start for 30-minute hot air balloon flight over the Atherton Tablelands. Bus transfer back to Cairns for some free time. No meals included. Local payment for Civil Aviation levy. Additional local payment between end of January and beginning of March.
Day 4: Full day snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef. An 8.15am start from Reef Fleet Terminal. Board catamaran ‘Reef Magic’. Five hours at reef site. Snorkelling, glass bottomed boat tour, underwater observatory. Optional tours include helicopter tours and scuba dives (own cost). Morning tea and buffet lunch included. Approx. AUD10 for return bus transfer.
Please Note: There will be a local payment of around AUD90 (approx £49) which will need to be paid in cash on different days of your programme (see itinerary). This includes a Civil Aviation levy, a rafting fee and a kayaking supplement. This payment is extra to the trip price, but the trip has been priced to take in to account this additional local payment. Return transfers from the reef on days 2 & 4 will cost an additional AUD10 per day.Between the end of January and the beginning of March the hot air ballooning has a AUD30 local payment.

Kiwi Discovery Pass: Minimum 30 days, valid for 12 months
Valid for 12 months, your bus pass allows you to spend up to a year exploring New Zealand, or if you prefer you can complete the entire tour route in a minimum of 30 days (although we recommend you allow around 38 days to make the most of your travel pass experience).
You don't have to start in Auckland! You can start and end at any stop along the route!
You should arrange your arrival into Auckland the day before the tour begins, as there is an early start in the morning!
Auckland to Paihia, Bay of Islands. Your flexible, hop-on-hop-off tour begins today at 7am in the lively city of Auckland. Your destination is the relaxing seaside town of Paihia, known as the ‘gateway to the Bay of Islands’. Visit Parry Kauri Forest Park.
Paihia to Cape Reinga and Back. Stop off at Te Paki Stream to try some inclusive dune surfing and sandboarding, before arriving at Cape Reinga. Please note: Today is a round day trip from Paihia and you cannot hop off the bus today.
Paihia to Auckland. Today is a free day to relax and enjoy Paihia at your leisure. Join a boat cruise, sign up to swim with dolphins, laze on the beach or hike to the famous Harura Falls. In the afternoon, the bus will take you back to the bright lights of Auckland.
Auckland to Hahei. Travel south to the stunning Coromandel Peninsula and settle into your beachfront accommodation. Head over to Hot Water Beach to dig and relax in your own personal hot water pool! (weather & tide dependent)
Hahei. Free day to relax and soak up the beautiful surroundings and awesome optional activities of Hahei.
Hahei to Rotorua. Journey through the rolling hills of the Waikato region. Optional activities include visiting The Lord of the Rings Hobbiton set. Free day to relax and explore in geothermal Rotorua.
Rotorua to Lake Aniwhenua. Maori guided tour, activities, meals and stay at Lake Aniwhenua (optional: extra cost of NZD89). Optional activities include: traditional fishing, eeling, weaving lessons, cooking classes and kayaking (cost NZD10-20).
Lake Aniwhenua (via Taupo) to Whakahoro. See the stunning Huka Falls then visit Lake Taupo. Optional skydiving (approx NZD250). Rural country farm visit and overnight stay.
Whakahoro. Explore the countryside around the rural country farm. Optional activities include a 4x4 tour, a horse trek or kayaking.
Whakahoro to Raetihi. Explore the Tongariro National Park. Option to do legendary 1-day Tongariro Crossing Alpine Walk (extra cost). Stay overnight at a historic Nurses’ Home in Raetihi.
Raetihi to Wellington. Travel to Wellington. Free time to explore New Zealand’s capital city.
Wellington to Marahau (Abel Tasman National Park). 8am ferry to South Island (extra cost of approx. NZD55). Visit to Marlborough wine-making region (optional wine tasting). Final destination of the day is Marahau, on the edge of Abel Tasman National Park.
Marahau (Abel Tasman National Park). Explore Abel Tasman National Park. Optional activities on offer include sailing, kayaking, skydiving, stand up paddleboarding or hang gliding. All optional activities are at an extra cost.
Marahau to Franz Josef. Journey along the rugged west coast. See the seal colony at Cape Foulwind and the unusual Punakaiki Pancake Rocks with their impressive blowholes. Stop off at the mining town of Greymouth and Hokitika en route to Franz Josef.
Franz Josef. Free day to explore the area around the fantastic Franz Josef Glacier. Join a guided bush hike, or enjoy a heli-hop and tour of the unique icy area, including entry to hot pools (extra cost of NZD250).
Franz Josef to Wanaka. See Lake Matheson, travel through Haast Pass and Makarora, see Lake Hawea then end up in Wanaka in the late afternoon.
Wanaka to Queenstown. Early walk up Mount Iron or skydive (skydive extra cost). On to Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world! Spend 2 unforgettable nights here.
Queenstown to Gunn’s Camp. Start early for a scenic drive past Lake Wakatipu, before arriving in magical Milford Sound. Opt to do a Milford Sound boat cruise (extra cost) before travelling on to Gunn’s Camp.
Gunn’s Camp to Invercargill/Stewart Island. Take a leisurely stroll through beautiful beech forests on a Viewing Gantry walk. Travel South to Invercargill. Hop across to Stewart Island (ferry at own cost) or stay in Invercargill overnight instead.
Invercargill/Stewart Island to Queenstown. If you stayed on Stewart Island, enjoy a free morning before travelling back to the mainland (ferry at own cost). If you chose to stay in Invercargill overnight, you’ll head out on a tour sea-lion, penguin and dolphin spotting. Travel back to Queenstown.
Queenstown to Aoraki/Mt Cook. Arrive at the base of New Zealand’s highest mountain Aoraki/ Mt Cook in the early afternoon. Take a short walk, join a 4WD tour or visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre.
Mount Cook to Rangitata (via Tekapo). Journey through ‘Lord of the Rings country’ and stop off at the sparkling waters of Lake Tekapo. Take an optional hike up to Mt John observatory for a killer view. Tonight, stay in an original sheep station in Rangitata Peel Forest.
Rangitata to Christchurch. Optional white water rafting or horse riding this morning. Spend the night in the wonderful city of Christchurch.
Christchurch to Kaikoura. Journey up the beautiful east coast to Kaikoura. Spot seals, soak up the spectacular views, swim with dolphins or go whale-spotting (seasonal).
Kaikoura (via Picton) to Wellington. Travel along the wild coast, stopping at a seal colony en route to Picton. You can choose to stop off here, or catch a ferry (extra cost of NZD51-75) across the Cook Strait to Wellington.
Wellington to Auckland. Leaving at 6.40am, you’ll zip back to your starting point in Auckland today, arriving in the late afternoon. Here your epic hop-on-hop-off adventures come to an end!
Don’t forget, you can hop on and off along the route for up to a year!

Introduction to Brazil: 8 Days
Day 1: Welcome to Rio! Touch down in Brazil and take an inclusive arrival transfer to your cool city hostel that’s just a 10-minute walk away from Copacabana beach!
Day 2: City tour. Take an action-packed tour of the city, taking in gorgeous Sao Conrado, Tijuca Forest, Christ the Redeemer (ticket included), Santa Teresa, and Lapa, home to the colourful Escadaria Selaron.
Day 3: Favela tour. Visit Rocinha favela, the largest favela in South America. You will be guided around the shanty-town by a local guide, who’ll show you how thousands of people live their lives on the hillside. Watch a Capoeira show by the kids at the local community centre.
Days 4-5: Beautiful Ilha Grande. Time to leave the city behind and get a taste of unspoilt paradise. Your destination is Ilha Grande, a pristine island off the coast of Rio State. Spend your days here delving into the lush green rainforests, discovering exquisite hidden coves and then take an included boat trip to a spectacular white-sand beach.
Days 6-7: Perfect Paraty. From blissful beaches to quaint cobbled streets, welcome to Paraty! This lively town is full of elegant architecture, artists’ retreats and delicious restaurants. From here you’ll enjoy an island-hopping boat trip and a jeep tour through colonial Paraty, including a visit to a cachaca distillery, giving you the chance to sample Brazil’s famous spirit.
Day 8: Return to Rio. An inclusive return transfer to the city takes you back to where you started. From here you can fly home or have more adventures in South America. Why not kick off an epic experience with our awesome Rio to Lima Adventure?

Fly into either Johannesburg or Cape Town and then by local flight into Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (Nelspruit), arriving between 10am-2pm. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the game reserve (1.5 hours away). Return transfers are included for departure flights after 10am on your last day.
Arrange into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport on day 1 of your tour. You will be met at the airport by your group leader, who will take you to your hotel and introduce you to the rest of your group. Your Thai Adventure ends back in Bangkok on day 25. Return airport transfers are not included.
Arrive into Denpasar Airport on day 1 (airport transfer included). You can arrive in advance of the start date and still take up the inclusive transfer if you book extra night's accommodation through us. If you wish to arrive before the start date then please let us know this in advance. The Bali Intro ends in Ubud on day 12. A return airport transfer is not included but your guide can help arrange this. A transfer by minivan takes around 1.5 hours. We recommend you do not book an onward flight until around 1pm on day 12.
Arrive into Cairns in time for the first day of your Cairns Adventure. An arrival transfer from the airport is included between the hours of 8am and 8pm. The East Coast Pass departs from Cairns. Your Australian experience ends in Sydney. Our flights team will help you organise onward travel to New Zealand.
You should plan your own transport to arrive in Auckland for the start of your Kiwi Discovery travel pass. As day 1 begins with an early 7.00am bus departure, you will need to plan your arrival in to Auckland for the previous day and arrange accommodation at your own cost. You will need to let us know where you are staying in advance so we know where to pick you up from. We can help advise you about accommodation in Auckland, just ask one of our travel advisors.
You’ll need to arrange your flights into your starting location of Los Angeles and make your way to a city hotel where you’ll meet your group, usually at around 6pm. Your tour ends in San Francisco late on day 7. Return airport transfers are not included.
Arrive into Rio de Janeiro International Airport on day 1. An arrival transfer to your hostel is included. Your tour ends in Rio on day 8. A return airport transfer is not included but can be booked for approximately £25. Please speak to us for more details.
All accommodation is included, in a private game lodge with a plunge pool. Accommodation is in basic single-sex shared dorms, sleeping 4-10 people, with shared bathroom facilities. There are communal indoor and outdoor areas including a Boma (campfire) area. Internet and mobile phone network availability is limited. There are coin-operated laundry facilities on site where you can do your own laundry. Lockers are not provided. We recommend that you bring a torch with you. During your downtime at the reserve camp, there are few activities available on site, so you may wish to bring books, music, DVDs, cards or games with you.
Accommodation is included for the full 24 nights of the tour. For the majority of the trip your accommodation will be in modern hostels in multi-share rooms. Meals are not included, except lunch at the Elephant Home and meals during the Hill Trek. This provides an excellent opportunity to engage with local people at restaurants and market stalls and to sample authentic local cuisine. Food in Southeast Asia is very cheap so eating out won’t break the bank!
Your time in Singapore is independent travel time and no accommodation or meals are included. This provides you with huge flexibility during your stay on the island, allowing you to spend time in a variety of different places. Make the most of your travels by throwing yourself into local culture - Singapore has a delicious cuisine and you should make sure to try as many different foods as possible!
All your accommodation is included during the Bali Intro. The accommodation is of a great standard, with incredible swimming pools, private bathrooms, air conditioning and hot water. You'll be seriously spoilt on this brilliant Bali Intro! 8 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 2 dinners are included.
1) Cairns Adventure
Six nights of hostel accommodation are included on the Cairns Adventure. Most meals are not included in the programme, so you should bring money for food and extras. On day 1, you get a BBQ lunch included as part of the white water rafting package, and the opportunity to purchase breakfast at your own cost before you head down river. On day 2, you will have lunch included in the Atherton Tablelands tour. On day 3, no food is included. On day 4 you will have morning tea and a buffet-style lunch included at the Great Barrier Reef.
2) East Coast Travel Pass: Cairns - Sydney
No accommodation is included as part of this flexible travel pass, but in each overnight location you will have accommodation reserved for you, so you don’t have to worry about where you will be staying. These will range from shared dorm rooms in hostels, at an average cost of AUD28 (approx £16) per person per night, to en suite twin or double rooms in motels, at an average cost of AUD100 (approx £57). There will be a few compulsory overnight stops, which will cost in the region of AUD60 (approx £35) per night, which is to be made by local payment, and includes dinner, bed, breakfast and activities.Accommodation costs are to be paid locally.
Independent Travel Time
If you choose to hop on and off for independent travel time, you will be responsible for finding and paying for your own accommodation, although your helpful tour guides will be able to advise you of the best (and cheapest!) local options.
Meals are not included on this trip. Self-catering options are sometimes available, or the group often chooses to go out for a meal together. Australia is bursting with restaurants and cafes, so you’re never far from a good, cheap meal. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are readily available.
Accommodation and meals are not included as part of this hop-on-hop-off bus tour. Each stop-off on the bus route offers unique accommodation options, which we offer our travellers at a reasonable cost, with a typical night costing about NZD25-30 for a dorm room and NZD60-80 for a twin or double room*. We reserve accommodation in all our overnight stops so you’ll be guaranteed one night’s accommodation in each overnight stop if you want it. If you wish to take advantage of this offer, tell your guide/driver and they will book it for you (you pay as you go).
If you wish to choose your own accommodation, or want to stay longer in any of the locations along the route, to make the most of your 12 months flexible bus pass, then you are free to select your own accommodation and your guide can help you with advice and booking.
*Please note: in peak season twin and double rooms may have limited availability.
6 nights’ accommodation is included on this tour. This is 2 nights in hotels/hostels in a twin share room, and 4 nights camping along the route. You will have comfortable self inflating mattresses and dome tents.
However, on this trip you have the choice to upgrade to a single room if you wish (at an extra cost). If you wish to upgrade to a single room, please speak to a travel advisor before you book this trip.
4 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 4 dinners are included on this tour. Please allow USD100-130 for meals not included.
7 nights of accommodation are included on this tour. Accommodation will be in multi-share hostels, ideal for young backpackers. If you require an extra night of accommodation in Rio before your onward flight we can book this for you for approximately £25.
Breakfasts are included at your accommodation. You will need to purchase the rest of your meals yourself. Brazil has a delicious cuisine, including rice dishes, spicy stews and exotic fruit so you’ll never struggle for something yummy to eat!
The minimum age to join this Whole World 360 trip is 18.
Nationals of the EU, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand don’t require a visa to enter South Africa. South African Immigration does ask that you have two completely blank consecutive pages in your passport, though as long as you hold a valid passport (and a valid return ticket) you will be granted a temporary visitor’s permit on arrival, allowing visitors to stay in South Africa for up to three months. You should also ensure that your passport will still be in date for six months after you return.
British nationals can enter Thailand without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days.
British nationals can enter Singapore without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days so long as they have more than 6 months validity remaining on their passport.
A 30-day tourist visa is available on arrival in Bali, for a cost of USD35, to be paid on arrival. The visa situation in Indonesia is frequently changing. Please check www.fco.gov.uk for the latest information.
All visitors to Australia (excepting those from New Zealand) will require a visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) to enter. These must be applied for before departure, and if you’re planning on working in Australia whilst you’re out here you’ll need a Working Holiday Visa. If you are just heading to Australia for fun however, an ETA will suffice. Both visas can be applied for online.
Fraser Island Add-On: In order to drive a 4x4 on Fraser Island you must be aged 21 or over and have a full, clean, manual driving license. Otherwise, you can see the island from the passenger seat!
British nationals can stay in New Zealand for up to six months as tourists. If you are planning on working at all during your time in New Zealand, you will need to apply for a Working Holiday Visa (available to 18-30 year olds) and can do this by visiting the New Zealand Immigration website.
Visitors who are transitting through or entering New Zealand as tourists will need to hold an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) before travelling to New Zealand. Tourists will also need to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) alongside the ETA. People entering New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa do not require an ETA.
Please note the legal drinking alcohol age in the USA is 21 years. If you are under 21, you will not be permitted into pubs, bars or casinos. British Nationals visiting the USA will be able to travel (for tourism purposes) under the US Visa Waiver Programme for durations of up to 90 days. All travellers going to the United States will have to complete the ESTA form online for authorisation under the Visa Waiver Programme. Details on how to apply for this will be given to you once you have booked.
