Sydney Working Holiday

Day 1: Start in Sydney. Land in Sydney International Airport where a transfer will be waiting to take you to the hostel in the city centre. No activities are planned for today, so rest up ahead of tomorrow!

Day 2: Welcome activities. Meet your group this morning and get set-up with your Aussie bank account, phone number and tax file number. From there, we’ll head out and start exploring Sydney on a walking tour. Finish the day with a welcome dinner at one of Sydney’s top venues!

Day 3: Culture and cocktails. Discover more of Sydney today, starting with a private Aboriginal cultural tour where we’ll learn more about Australia’s heritage. See Harbour Bridge and Opera House, before taking a cocktail-making masterclass and street food tour!

Day 4: Jervis Bay dolphins. This morning we’ll hit the road and drive along the coast, stopping at a waterfall inside Australia’s first-ever national park before passing through the epic Sea Cliff Bridge. Take a dolphin cruise this morning and enjoy a lazy afternoon on the whitest sand beaches on earth! This evening you will transfer to the Surf Camp.

Day 5: Surf Camp and Sydney. Head out to the famous sandy stretches of Seven Mile Beach, before getting ready to catch that first wave! We’ll start the day with a beginner-friendly surfing lesson. This evening, we’ll take a scenic road trip and return to Sydney.

Day 6: Bondi Beach. This morning, we will learn about all the possible opportunities for your working holiday in a job presentation. Then, this afternoon, we’ll visit Bondi Beach - a Sydney classic and one of the world’s greatest beaches!

Day 7: Sydney bar crawl. Get your questions ready, as you have a 1-to-1 job support session; talk about future accommodation plans, job opportunities and what else your working holiday will entail. Then tonight, join us for a bar crawl through the city!

Day 8: Farewell BBQ. Is there anything better to do on a Sunday afternoon than enjoy a barbecue with an unforgettable city view? Reminisce about the memories made over the past few days, but don’t feel too sad, because your adventure in Australia is just beginning!

Please note: an additional night of accommodation will be included between tours.

East Coast Explorer

Day 1: Welcome dinner. Ready for the next part of your adventure? Meet your new travel group this afternoon, who will soon become friends for life! After a secret Sydney activity, we’ll head out for a welcome dinner and grab an overnight bus to Byron Bay.

Days 2-4: Byron Bay. Famed for its surfer beaches and gorgeous natural scenery, Byron Bay is an unforgettable highlight on the East Coast. Enjoy the perfect combination of inclusions and free time over the next few days, where you can go surfing, do yoga or take beach days. Expect amazing evenings out and fun group activities like a river kayaking tour for sunset, followed by celebratory drinks at the pub. Byron Bay is where you’ll say goodbye to the tour guide

Days 5-6: Surfers Paradise. Before you start exploring the East Coast without a guide, we have a special session included to help you with the rest of your time in Australia. With App-based support, you will continue your adventue with help just seconds away!  Enjoy the sunkissed stretches of sand and world-famous nightlife over the next few days, or check out its thrilling theme parks for adrenaline rush rollercoasters and water slides.

Days 7-9: Brisbane. Our next East Coast destination is Brisbane, the sunny capital of Queensland. Explore the vibrant city quarters and beautiful national parks just outside Brisbane over the next few days, with a day trip to Bribie Island included.

Days 10-12: Noosa. There’s nowhere like Noosa! Home to gorgeous beaches, an incredible food scene and a National Park with Fairy Pools only 500m from town, Noosa is pretty magical!

Days 13-14: Everglades National Park. Discover one of the two Everglades forests on earth, filled with ancient trees, floating lily pads and marshy landscapes. Take a scenic boat cruise, go for a canoe ride through the crystal-clear River of Mirrors and kick back in the evenings at the onsite brewery.

Days 15-20: K’gari. Kick back and explore K’gari over the next few days, which is the world’s biggest sand island. The endless golden stretches make K’gari the ideal location for beach days, but the island is also full of surprises – like bright blue lakes and a rainforest - further inland.

Days 21-23: Whitsundays. If you were to imagine what heaven on earth might look like, it’s probably the Whitsundays! From the swirling, snow-coloured sand to the leaning palm trees and vivid turquoise waters, nothing can prepare you for how beautiful the Whitsundays are. It’s why you’ll get to experience it from a few different angles – on a helicopter flight and a boat trip with snorkelling!

Days 24-26: Magnetic Island. More of a hidden treasure along the East Coast, Magnetic Island is the perfect destination to recharge and unwind for a few days. It’s nicknamed “Maggy” by the locals, and other than all the koalas and wallabies you’ll find in the wild, one of the highlights of the island has to be the Barbie cars! Laze around on the golden sand, follow the hiking trails through the forest or go snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters.

Days 27-29: Cairns and Great Barrier Reef. On this trip we’ve covered well over 3000km, and our last adventure together is in Cairns! We’ve got a snorkelling trip planned inside the Great Barrier Reef: the world’s biggest coral reef system and a global hotspot for all things diving. You can upgrade to scuba diving, and plan other adrenaline activities in your free time!

Day 30: End trip. Check out of your accommodation and make your way to the airport, or continue your adventure in Australia.
