About the location
You’ll be staying in our awesome fitness camp in Kalpitya on Sri Lanka’s west coast. Based on an unspoilt beach, surrounded by mangroves and palm trees this is Sri Lanka at its best. The area is great for water-sports including stand-up paddleboarding and kite surfing, so there’s tons for active travellers to do here.
About the training sessions
Our expert trainers serve up all your dynamic sweat sessions in the resort. You’ll have two workouts a day, five days a week (Monday to Friday), including Body 360, kettlebell and dumb bell workouts, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), and Boxercise workouts. You also have access to train in our outdoor gym between classes and use the equipment throughout the day.
A typical week’s itinerary
Sunday (arrival day)
Fly into Colombo International Airport before heading to our beachside resort. You’ll have your first included meal this evening and the opportunity to meet some of your fitness buddies.
Monday to Friday
Weekdays are all about working hard and having fun, with scheduled workouts, delicious, nutritious meals, time for you to push your gains independently and some free time for kicking back on the beach. On Tuesdays we’ll take you on a dolphin excursion, but the average day looks like this…
- 07:30 – 8:00: Healthy Snack
- 08:00 – 9:00: Body 360 / HIIT
- 09:00 – 10:00: Breakfast
- 10:00 – 11:00: SUP session
- 11:00 – 12:00: Open mat session
- 13:00 – 14:00: Lunch
- 14:00 – 16:00: Beach chill
- 16:00 – 17:00: Body 360 / HIIT
- 17:00 – 18:00: Mocktail hour
- 19:00 – 20:00 – Dinner
The weekends are yours to run how you choose. Meals and mocktails are served at the same times as on weekdays, with a beach barbecue for dinner on Saturday, but apart from that you’re free to do as you please. Sunday is changeover day, so if you’re leaving, you’ll need to transfer back to the airport.

While this is a fitness holiday, it’s not all about breaking a sweat. Get stuck into some stand up paddleboarding (you’ll have unlimited access to our SUPs), kayaking, volleyball, whale-watching, and chilling on the beach. There’s an included weekly dolphin excursion as well as a range of optional tours, like visiting national reserves, kite safaris, snorkelling and diving.

Fly into Colombo International Airport (CMB) in Sri Lanka on the Sunday before your trip start date. You can either make your own way to Kalpitiya by taxi (approximately €90) or join our shared transfer from Negombo (€25 per person). The transfer takes around 3 hours.
On the day of your departure, you’re also welcome to take your own taxi to the airport or to join our shared transfer (cost as before).
During your stay you will be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner, but during travel days, not all meals are included. You’ll share dinner with your new friends on the evening of your arrival day and on your departure day we will provide breakfast before you leave.
All your accommodation during your stay at the fitness camp is included. You’ll be staying in a super-chilled beach-side community, with exclusive use for our guests, in one of the most untouched parts of Sri Lanka. The resort has been created with sustainability and low impact on the surrounding environment in mind and it blends effortlessly with its paradise setting. There isn’t a pool in the resort, but you can use the gorgeous pool in the neighbouring resort when you buy a drink, and the Indian Ocean is just steps away.
All rooms are on a twin share basis. You will be roomed in either beautiful beachside bungalows which are Balinese style rustic rattan structures, or our bohemian glamping bell tents. Both options use shared bathrooms and toilets.

All your meals are included during your stay, apart from on the day of your arrival (only dinner), and the day of your departure (only breakfast). While we’ve carefully planned a healthy, delicious menu, the meal plan is not on an ‘all you can eat’ basis, and if your goals are specifically around bulking up, you may like to supplement your protein intake during your stay.
Breakfasts generally consists of eggs, toast, porridge, fruit shakes, fruit, tea and coffee. For lunch and dinner delicious, vitamin packed meals are included which will be a mix of local Sri Lankan food and western style dishes.
We can cater for vegan or vegetarian diets. If you have any dietary requirements let us know at time of booking.
There are two optional drinks packs that you can add to your booking:
- Water pack (€10 per stay) – we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and have introduced a high quality mineralised, UV treated filtered water station, where you can fill your reusable bottles to avoid single use plastic.
- Unlimited drinks package (€25 per week) - unlimited tea, coffee, juices, virgin cocktails and fruit-infused water, with one protein shake per day (non-vegan), subject to availability.
You’ll need to be a minimum of 18 years old to participate in this trip. You don’t need to have previous gym experience though – it’s open to all fitness levels from beginners to those with advanced levels of fitness.
All visitors who are eligible to enter Sri Lanka must apply online for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travel in order to enter Sri Lanka. Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry to Sri Lanka.
It’s your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas for your time away. Entry, visa and passport requirements are subject to change without prior notice, so please do check visa requirements at the time of your trip.
This trip is designed with your safety and wellbeing in mind. As a result of Covid-19, many of our suppliers and partners around the world are introducing new policies and procedures surrounding health and safety in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. As the state of travel is evolving these new safety measures will adapt over time, and will be different for each trip. Here are some of the changes you may see on your trip:
Arrival safety meetings
Most trips have an arrival meeting on the first day where the guide or local team will run through the trip, the safety protocols, and to answer any questions you may have. Now more than ever it is important you arrive in time for these meetings.
Proof of vaccination or negative covid test
For the safety of all travellers, at the start of some trips you may be required to show evidence that you are fully vaccinated (14 days after your second dose) and/or show evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the tour start date in order to join the programme.
Updated hygiene and safety procedures
Our suppliers and partners have health and safety procedures in place on all of our trips. These protocols will be updated and adapted as a response to the Coronavirus outbreak, dependent on local restrictions and laws.
Transport and accommodation choices
Our suppliers and partners choose the accommodation and transport on our trips very carefully, and you may see a change to what would normally be used as a response to the outbreak. This may involve such changes as enhanced use of private transport or quieter accommodation.
Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.
Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.
24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.
It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
