The rural villages surrounding Siem Reap are some of the countries poorest areas, despite the tourist attraction of Angkor Wat being close by. Many families cannot afford basic school equipment or uniforms for their kids, however with the generous help of travellers donations means that we are working hard to change this for many of the village families.
