Discover the fantastic Philippines on this 8-day tour. If you want to go off the tourist trail in Asia, the Philippines are a must-do destination. Beginning in the modern capital city of Manila, you’ll travel to the buzzing mountain town of Baguio, famous for its faith healers, and see the unusual hanging coffins in the adventure location of Sagada. You'll also marvel at the ancient rice terraces of Banaue and enjoy an overnight hill trek and homestay in Batad. It's a blissful Asian adventure!!

Further trip information

Day 1: Manila. Arrive into the hustle and bustle of Manila, known as the ‘Pearl of the Orient’. There are no activities planned for today but you can explore the city if you have some free time. Meet your group and guide at a 6pm welcome meeting.

Day 2: Baguio (1B). A 7-hour journey by public bus brings you to the buzzing mountain town of Baguio, famous for its faith healers. Go on an orientation walk and op to visit a healer, relax with a traditional massage or shop at the local market. 

Day 3-4: Sagada (2B). Travel for 7 hours onwards to Sagada, a popular destination for adventure-seekers. See the unusual hanging coffins or enjoy optional activities such as hiking or caving (own cost). 

Day 5: Batad (1B, 1D). Trek along hiking trails to a local village to learn all about the lives of the Ifugao people on an overnight homestay experience, which includes a cultural performance and a delicious dinner. 

Day 6: Banaue (1B). Jump into a colourful jeepney and travel to beautiful Banaue, with its UNESCO World Heritage Site rice terraces. Enjoy some free time to trekking or just relax and soak up the scenery. 

Day 7: Batad (1B). Enjoy a free day before boarding an overnight bus to Manila.

Day 8: Manila. Tour ends on arrival in Manila at approx. 7am.
