Diving code of conduct: Learn to Dive on Koh Tao

We know how much you want to enjoy every moment of your time travelling, but at Gap 360 we need to ensure that health and safety is the priority during your learn to dive course. The base for your learn to dive course is one of Thailand's premier fun islands, idyllic Koh Tao, and there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy nights out while you are on the island. However, the temptation to party can get in the way of you making the most of your learn to dive experience, so we advise that you take it easy on the party nights while you are participating on the diving course.

Before you are allowed to begin your learn to dive course on Koh Tao, we ask that all participants must agree to the following code of conduct. Failure to agree with the code of conduct will result in cancellation of your learn to dive course, and the course fee is then non-refundable.

In order to participate on the learn to dive programme, you must understand and agree to all of the following code of conduct conditions:

• You must complete the PADI medical form and return it to Gap 360 at least one month before your departure date
• You must inform Gap 360 of any changes to your medical conditions or health which occur after you have completed the medical form
• You must arrive at the learn to dive classes on time
• You should respect the designated class times, even if the class is scheduled for the early morning
• You must bring the required kit list to your classes. From days 2-4 the kit list is: Swimming gear, sun tan lotion, sunglasses, bottled water
• You must attend all classes and practical dives
• You should be in good health while taking part in the course
• You must not be hung-over or under the influence of alcohol during your dive lessons
• You should ensure you have a good night's sleep before classes
• You must complete any allocated homework on time
• You should be respectful towards the dive instructors and course staff at all times, and follow their instructions and advice

Please note: Failure to comply with any of the above conditions will result in your immediate expulsion from the course and you will not be entitled to any refund.
