Fair Ethical Policy

At Gap 360 we aim to deal fairly and ethically with everyone. We take responsible tourism seriously and our goal is to treat both our customers and our overseas suppliers in a fair an ethical way at all times.

Fair deals for our customers

At Gap 360, we will treat you, our customers, fairly. We will not promise things we cannot deliver on, and we will be honest in our dealings with you.

We will send you things when we say we will and give you as much information as we have available.

Fair booking terms

Our terms of booking are fair. For most of our programmes we only ask only for a £199 deposit. We offer two great payment plans:

1) Book with a £199 deposit and pay the rest of your balance 12 weeks before you go, or

2) Book with a £49 deposit and pay the rest off in equal monthly instalments, with the last payment due 1 month before you travel.

Ongoing customer support

When you go off travelling we will support you to the best of our ability, and we offer a 24 hour emergency helpline. If anything needs improving we will act quickly. We'll seek your opinions on the trips you experience, and will listen to what you say.

Fair dealings with our overseas suppliers

The people and partner organisations who run our Gap 360 overseas trips, projects and accommodations are extremely important to us. Our Operations Director has personally visited the people in charge of our programmes abroad, and checked out most of the facilities (yes, she has been a very busy lady!).

We stay in close touch with project leaders and maintain Skype and video links on a regular basis. We pay a fair price to the overseas suppliers and listen carefully to their proposals for improvements to the trips.

What happens if things go wrong?

When travelling overseas, the unexpected can happen. Our suppliers overseas can deal with most day-to-day problems that can occur.

For real emergencies we maintain a telephone hotline 24 hours, every single day of the year. This is a UK mobile number handled by a Gap 360 staff member, not an answering service and not a line that is only available during UK office hours.
