Day 1: Siem Reap. Welcome to Cambodia! You'll be met by our friendly in-country team at the airport and taken to your accommodation. Meet the rest of the group and your tour guide later this evening over a welcome dinner and a few drinks.
Day 2: Siem Reap. Learn how to make traditional Cambodian food today with a group cooking class in the centre of Siem Reap. This evening we'll make our way to the outskirts of the city to enjoy some peaceful sunset views across the beautiful green rice terraces.
Day 3: Angkor Wat. We'll start our day pretty early today to catch the sun rising over the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat. Once you've filled your camera memory with incredible photos, we'll explore the rest of the ancient site.
Day 4-5: Phnom Penh. On day 4 we’ll travel cross country to Phnom Penh. The following morning we’ll be taking a tour of two of the most heinous sites in Cambodia’s history. We’ll walk the grounds of the Killing Fields and S21 Prison and pay our respects before heading back to the city centre in the afternoon. In the evening we’ll lighten the mood with some games and drinks.
Day 6-7: Kampot. We’ll head to the quaint riverside town of Kampot on day six and enjoy a bit of time in the river on rope swings, pontoons and river tubes before enjoying some food and drinks in the evening. On day seven, we’ll head off on a river boat cruise to take in the beautiful local scenery and watch the sun setting over the mountains.
Day 8: Jungle Trek. Making our way out of town we’ll reach the Cambodian jungle, where we’ll spend the day trekking through banana plantations to a secret waterfall. After lunch we’ll head back to the city for some drinks by the pool.
Day 9-10: Koh Rong Samloem. Up next, island paradise awaits… we’ll jump on a boat to get to beautiful Koh Rong Samloem. Spend the next two days chilling out in your resort’s private bay.
Day 11: Phnom Penh. We’ll make the journey back to Phnom Penh today where, after arriving in the afternoon, you’ll get some free time to go and check out the city properly. Later on, we’ll regroup to party in style after a farewell dinner.
Day 12: Phnom Penh. Check out of the accommodation today and depart any time you like – there aren’t any planned activities, so you’re free to head off any time.

Your tour starts in Siem Reap, so you’ll need to arrange your flight to arrive into Siem Reap International Airport (REP) on day 1 of your programme start date. You will be met at the airport and taken to the accommodation by one of our friendly in-country team. Please make sure you arrive by late afternoon on the first day, so as not to miss the welcome meeting and meal.
The tour ends in Phnom Penh on day 12, so please arrange return flights or onward travel from Phnom Penh (PHN). You can depart at any time on the last day. A return transfer to the airport isn’t included, but your tour guide can help you arrange transport.
11 nights’ accommodation is included in the cost of your trip. You’ll stay in a number of different guesthouses and hostels on this trip, all of which have swimming pools and air conditioning, apart from your accommodation on Koh Rong Samloem, which has its own private bay instead! You’ll be staying in twin, triple or quad-share rooms with other members from your group. Let us know if you’re travelling with a friend or partner you’d like to share a room with.
A farewell dinner is included in the cost of your trip, but other than that, you’ll need to purchase your own food. Luckily, Cambodian cuisine is both delicious and budget-friendly and you’ll have plenty of dining options in each location – your tour guide will be more than happy to point you in the right direction if you’re unsure about anything.
The minimum age to join this group tour is 18. This trip is designed for travellers aged 18-39.
British passport holders will need a visa to enter Cambodia. You can apply for a visa online before travelling or simply complete a form on arrival at Siem Reap airport. If you wish to obtain a visa on arrival, please make sure you take a couple of passport-sized photos and approximately $30 USD cash. If you are planning to extend your stay it is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid visa for the entire duration, or obtain any necessary visa extensions while you are in Cambodia.
