Enjoy an epic 4-week tour through 4 amazing Asian countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia! 

Please note: The following is the 2017 itinerary. If you are travelling after 5th February 2018, you will follow a slightly different 27-day itinerary. Please see the end of this itinerary for more information.

Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok.  Welcome meeting with your group and guide.

Day 2: Bangkok/Surat Thani (1B). Optional activities include visits to Wat Po,  the Grand Palace or a Klong boat tour. Your guide will take you on a street food crawl before you board an overnight train to Surat Thani.

Days 3-5

Depending on when you travel, your itinerary for days 3-5 will vary. If you travel between May and October you will stay on beautiful Koh Samui. If you travel between November and April you will stay in idyllic Krabi.

Day 3: February – October: Surat Thani/Ko Samui Island. Take a ferry to idyllic Koh Samui Island, with its beautiful beaches and brilliant nightlife. November – February: Krabi (1B, 1L) Transfer to Krabi, a gorgeous bay dotted with soaring limestone karsts.

Day 4: February – October: Ko Samui Island (1B, 1L). An inclusive snorkelling day trip to stunning Angthong Marine Park. November – February: Krabi (1B, 1L). Snorkelling expedition to beautiful Koh Phi Phi.

Day 5: February – October: Ko Samui Island (1B). A free day to have fun and relax in the sun on Koh Samui. November – February: Krabi (1B). Explore Krabi or stretch out on the beach.

Day 6: Ko Samui Island (or Krabi)/George Town (1B). Travel across the border into magical Malaysia to Penang, the "Pearl of the Orient".

Day 7: George Town. A full free day in George Town, Penang with lots of great optional activities on offer.

Day 8: George Town/Cameron Highlands. Take a tour of the amazing Cameron Highlands and sip tea from the local tea plantations.

Day 9: Cameron Highlands. A full, free day to explore the gorgeous Cameron Highlands. Walk the hiking trails, visit tea plantations or enjoy the cool hill climate.

Day 10: Cameron Highlands/Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy the buzz of Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur and see all the highlights of this city – don’t miss the views from the famous Petronas Towers.

Day 11: Kuala Lumpur. A free day to discover Kuala Lumpur. Head out of town on an optional tour to the Batu Caves or visit the Orang Asli Museum.

Day 12: Kuala Lumpur/Melaka. Head to Melaka and relax or tour the canals by boat as you enjoy your final day in lovely Malaysia.

Day 13: Melaka/Singapore. Cross the border onto the island of Singapore and sign up for an optional harbour cruise or go on the famous Night Safari.

Day 14: Singapore/Jakarta, Indonesia (1B). Fly to Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital and the heart of Java.

Day 15: Jakarta/Cianjur (1B). Travel via Bogor to Cianjur, visit floating villages, choose to teach English to local kids and experience a slice of Indonesian life at an overnight homestay.

Day 16: Cianjur/Bandung (1B). Bus in to Bandung and take a brief orientation tour, followed by some independent exploration time.

Day 17: Bandung/Yogyakarta (1B). A scenic train journey takes you across country from Bandung to Yogyakarta today.

Days 18–19: Yogyakarta (1B). Optional activities include visits to the Buddhist Borobudur temple complex, local Javanese temples, or to majestic Mt Merapi.

Day 20: Yogyakarta/Ngadas (1B, 1D). Overnight homestay in Ngadas. Learn about a local community's way of life.

Day 21: Ngadas/Bromo (1B). Say farewell to your hosts and explore the village. Trek to the smouldering, volcanic Mt Bromo.

Day 22: Bromo/Red Island (1B). Enjoy an early morning hike to see the sunrise over Mt Bromo and then head to exquisite Red Island.

Day 23: Red Island (1B). Learn to skim across the waves like a pro with an included surf lesson. Explore the nearby village.

Day 24: Red Island/Pemuteran, Bali (1B). Get the bus and boat to Bali and head to the beach at picture-perfect Pemuteran.

Day 25: Pemuteran (1B). Relax by the beach in Bali, or join an optional snorkelling or scuba diving trip to magical Menjangan Island.

Day 26: Pemuteran/Ubud (1B, 1L). Travel to Ubud, stopping off at a community programme for lunch. Enjoy free time in Ubud.

Day 27: Ubud/Kuta (1B). Travel to coastal Kuta. Celebrate your final night in style with your group.

Day 28: Kuta (1B). Your Bangkok to Bali Adventure ends today in Kuta. You are free to depart at any time.

Please note: We recommend you bring around USD200 to cover the cost of optional activities not included in the trip.


If you are travelling after 5th February 2018, you will follow a slightly different itinerary. Your trip will last 27 days and you will travel straight on to Kuta from Pemuteran rather than spending a night in Ubud on day 26.

You will also visit exciting new destinations on your trip:

  • Day 3: You will spend the night in Khao Sok, with the option to hike or swim in beautiful Khao Sok National Park. You will then travel on to Koh Samui on day 4 and visit Ang Thong Marine Park on day 5.
  • Day 8: You will enjoy a traditional village homestay by gorgeous Chenderoh Lake. You will interact with locals and have the option to go trekking, kayaking and fishing. You will then travel on to Cameron Highlands on day 9.
