About the Parties
We try to plan our trips to coincide with a Full, Black or Half Moon Party on Koh Phangan. The Full Moon Party is what Koh Phangan is most famous for. Anywhere from 10,000 – 30,000 people gather to sing, dance and party the night away! A wide variety of music is played all night long and the infamous Thai Buckets are in plentiful supply! Entry costs approx. £2-3. The Black Moon Party is an incredible outdoor party on Baan Tai Beach. The luxurious sands are filled with intoxicating trance music from Thai and International residents, and guest DJs. Entry costs approx. £2-3. The Half Moon Party is the coolest alternative music event on Koh Phangan. World-class DJs play epic sets and the intimate forest setting fosters a magical atmosphere. Entry costs approx. £20-25.
