Sales Team Leader - Sponorship Available For The Right Candidate

We are a print and exhibition company based in both Sydney and Melbourne. We are seeking a talented Sales Manager to join our head office team in Padstow, NSW. This is an exciting and rewarding role, your main responsibility will be to support the sales team. 

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage, lead and motivate a high performing & engaged team of Business Development Managers
- Build sales capability through initiating new training techniques within the sales team
- Attend key trade events and networking opportunities to develop key relationships 
- Manage sales targets - including tracking revenue and cost-of-sale budgets in line with annual company targets
- Identify new sales distribution channels while maximising the existing
- Lead by example and build your own pipeline 
- Generate new leads and potential customers
- Ability to inform potential customers of products and secure sales
- Have an extensive knowledge to answer questions
- Promote specials and company brand/products
- Finalize quotations
- Build relationships with new and existing customers
- Communicate with staff in other divisions to ensure the customers get the best service
- Assist customers and staff with advice
- Liaise and support existing customers
- Follow up and Manage your team to ensure we are ahead of meeting monthly sales budget 
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Provide weekly business updates, sales training and progression plans for the month
- Weekly team meetings
- Hold daily one to one’s with senior sales 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Fantastic print and exhibition knowledge 
  • Be able to sell the company benefits and our end to end process
  • A background in sales/ print or exhibitions 
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Organisation skills and problem solving skills
  • Great computer skills
  • Able to work in a team to create a good culture within your team 
  • Well-presented and punctual
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, negotiation and organisational skills
  • Proven sales leadership experience in a B2B or B2C travel sales environment,
