We employ around 100 people for the cherry season from late october to late january.

We work 7 days per week , approx. 8 am til 5 pm - but can be longer or shorter days depending on what there is to do.

Extra skills are a bonus ; staff supervison , computer skills , forklift drivers ( licenced).

Fencing labourer

Small family owned rural fencing and stock yard building business needs a labourer, to help build steel and barbed wire fences and stock (cattle) yards on rural and remote cattle stations in the north west area of Queensland. The successful applicant needs to have a moderate level of fitness, as there is some heavy lifting and a lot of walking in the job. You must also be easy to get along with, be able to work alone or as part of a small team. Honesty and reliability are a must.

Experience is an advantage but not essential as training will be done on the job. We are very particular about the quality of work we produce so precise measurements when cutting post, rails etc is a must. Experience using power tools, measuring to the exact mm, or a construction/building background would be desirable.

We work on various cattle stations in North West Queensland. These stations are remote, sometime hundreds of kilometers from the nearest town. There is a very limited amount of phone coverage where we work. As the stations are a long way from town we live on site in a camp situation. You have your own room in an air conditioned caravan that you share with one other male staff member. All your meals are supplied, we have an excellent cook who serves a wide and varied menu. You are not charged for your accommodation or meals. Your laundry is done for you daily also.

We work a 9.5hr day. We work seven days a week, for long periods of time. If you are interested in the real Australian outback and have a love of the great outdoors this is the job for you.

We pay above the award wages, or you can work on an ABN.

A MANUAL drivers licence is a MUST. P plates ok.

Lovely, easy going but busy family are looking for an organised and fun Au Pair to help with their 3 school aged children - 2 boys aged 12 & 10 and a 8 year old girl. Their Au Pair has been very happy here but its now time for her to leave,

The family have their business and so often work long hours. This is a fun loving family who are extremely social and love getting out and doing lots of activities. They enjoying doing yard work, making gardens, playing with the dogs, swimming in the pool, riding motorbikes and are looking for an Au pair to muck in and help out!

This is an excellent position as the family live on a 20 acre property situated just off the Warrego Hwy. The property is surrounded by nature and there are no direct neighbours. It is peaceful, also near the RAAF Airbase and quite often the big planes fly right over - it is most exciting to watch!

The family have a beautiful large newly renovated home with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a granny flat also. They also have an extremely large pool, spa and a cave with a waterfall that the children love to jump off! There are 3 dams on our property and we have lots of room to go walking or go down the dam and watch the ducks and kangaroos.

The Au Pair will have their own accommodation in the granny flat with air-con & double bed with some cupboards for storage. You will also have a car for your own use.

Walloon is 45kms from Brisbane CBD (Southbank) approx. 10 mins from Ipswich, and just 5km from Walloon Town (Pub, chemist, grocery store, bakery etc.)

In addition to great accommodation and meals, you will receive weekly pocket money $250-$300 for 30/ 35 hours - Mon-Fri only.
Sometimes more hours required, sometimes less - but always more hours available if you want to work more.

Hours will be before & after school, taking children to activities and helping with homework. The youngest girl is diabetic so you will need to have understanding of her condition and be willing to work in with her needs and her eating times etc.

This will suit an experienced au pair who is caring and loving towards the children but at the same time will be fair and firm. You will also need to be organised, and use initiative to help out when required.

The role also includes some light housework, laundry, and help with meal preparation, feeding the animals and some help out in the yard. The family have 3 dogs and a cat.

We are looking for someone who has great English (ideally as a first language) who can stay for 6 months.
This is a lovely, warm family who will make you feel very at home and a part of the family.

Driver's license is essential as driving is required with a car provided for the Au Pair to use. You must also have 1st Aid and great childcare references. This would suit an older Au Pair who will enjoy this fabulous experience.

Truss Plant Production Workers required for small country town

We supply building materials and pre-fab trusses and frames to the building industry in South Australia and Western Victoria.

Our manufacturing site is based in Keith SA while we have various hardware sites in major regional areas in South Australia.

The position is Casual and located at our manufacturing site in Keith. You will be building roof trusses on computerised and manual jigs using air tools and electric/hydraulic presses used for pressing nail plates into the timber to hold the trusses together. 

You will need to have good English communication skills to be able to understand the work processes, where components have to be placed etc. 

The work involves manual handling of timber so would be better if you have some experience in manual work, building trade or even a farming background.

Our head office is located in Keith SA, 5267. 

Keith is a small farming community classified as regional for those wish to work towards a second year visa.

There are bus services that stop at Keith - just use Google to find one that runs between Melbourne and Adelaide. 


Pay and hours of work?

Pay rates are based on the timber industry award

If you decide to work for us you will be payed on the level 1 casual rate which is $23.66 hourly.

A standard week is 38 hours. Monday – Thursday 8 hours and on Friday we work 6 hours. Casual employees can be rostered daily however this is not usually the case.


Lunch break is from 12.00pm-12.30 pm with the exception of Friday where we work through to 1.00pm.

We also have a 10 minute tea break every morning at 10.00am which the company provides for with no time penalties.


Accommodation & Getting to work?

We can provide basic self-contained accommodation which includes all you need except towels and linen. The house is shared accommodation however there are there are 3 separate bedrooms so there is plenty of room. The accommodation is in the main street across from the supermarket. 36 Hender street, Keith (cottage next to the Mitre 10 store)

The factory is only a 10 minute walk away.

Lovely, professional single mum based in Geelong, VIC is looking for her first Au Pair to assist in caring for her children and to help the smooth running of her household.
Mum works as a Nurse and she has 2 beautiful girls aged 6 and 4. The mum is looking for some help with the children before and after school and with some light housework. The girls are actively involved in gymnastics and soccer and love visiting the zoo and going to museums! 

Duties will include caring for children -  school/sport/kindy pickup and drop off, help with light household chores and some weekly cooking. You will need to be an experienced, confident driver - and you will have an Auto car for personal use! Hours will vary during each week as mum does shiftwork and some help will be needed on the occasional weekends, though plenty of time to explore this lovely area. 

The family are busy and active and you will be treated like a member of the family! They live in a lovely community and you will be given a real cultural exchange! Day Camp Activity Leaders/ General Counsellors

Job Overview:

Activity Leaders or General Counsellors to children aged 5 – 13 years at an American
Summer Camp style vacation day care program in North Sydney and Manly locations.

Activity Leaders are instructors and teachers of specific skills to campers. They are
responsible for planning and implementing skill sessions that cater to the needs of each
camper whether they be beginners or advanced in the skill area. Activity Leaders are also
responsible for ensuring the well-being and enjoyment of their campers during each session.

General Camp Counselors are required to support and aid the activity leaders in their
activities and must also demonstrate key skills in the activity into which they are placed.
Activities range from soccer, basketball, surfing, to art, drama, music etc. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MUST be 18 and over
  • Must have or become certified in First Aid/CPR (TAW can help arrange this for you)
  • Have a current NSW WWCC number (Easy to apply for online)
  • Desire & ability to work with children aged 5-14
  • Previous experience with children
  • Strong knowledge, understanding & experience in desired skill area

• Develop and implement program activities for campers in line with the camp’s mission and
• Develop teaching program based on guidelines from Camp Director for activity sessions
that will cater to each camper and their skill level
• Implement said program, with the assistance of additional general counselor who's primary
aim is support and positive reinforcement and role modelling
• Assure campers are properly supervised at all times
• Teach and monitor proper use of equipment
• Provide for the progression of activities within the framework of individual and group
interests and abilities
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff
• Serve as a good example to campers in personal language, appearance and health habits
• Assume responsibility for enforcing the rules, policies, safety procedures, and traditions of
the camp with a positive attitude
• Assume responsibility for the health and welfare of the campers entrusted to your charge
• Observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, and enforce safety regulations by
applying appropriate behavior management techniques
• Set up and take down of activity areas daily, including checking for safety concerns and
• Assist with distributing meals to campers
• Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities
• Communicate with Camp Director regarding campers
• Participate in staff training; read camp handbook thoroughly - be responsible for
knowing the information
• Maintain good public relations with campers’ parents

Remuneration & Hours:

Staff are paid a flat rate for the week (less PAYG and Super) depending on age and experience.
This rate however is the minimum and does increase if employers lead activities, attend
required training sessions, perform exceptionally or take on additional roles and
responsibilities. Hours may vary day to day but general camp hours are 8am to 6pm.

Employment Details: 

We generally try and lock all our team in at least 2 weeks before the school holidays. We run one or 2 weeks every NSW state school holidays – so the job will be a rolling casual employment, with us renewing contracts every school holidays. We regularly have backpackers come and work for 2 weeks, who go off on their travels during term time and then come back and work another 2 weeks in the next school holidays. 

 Term dates for the next camps are:

Piggery Attendant / Farm Hand

One position is available for a hard working, honest and reliable worker to start asap in our large family owned piggery. General piggery work, lots of pressure cleaning, moving stock, daily checking of stock, loading truck.

Once instructed must be able to work with limited supervision. 

Applicant must be comfortable working with large animals and not afraid of getting their hands dirty. If you are afraid of hard work don't apply .

Must have good English communication skills and be physically fit.

Position is 38 hours per week. Weekend work is available


This employment counts towards extending your 2nd year Visa. 

Accommodation is available in a shared rental house on the farm, weekly rent of $60.00 includes water and electricity.

Award wages are paid. We are situated in regional Northern Victoria in the rural area of Mc Millans.

Drivers licence essential. Own car preferable but not essential.

Farm Hand - Horse Experience needed

We are currently looking for a farm hand on our cattle ranch. We are located 1 hour north of Tamworth. You will be required to do some general farm work and need to have the confidence to ride horses.

We can sign off for regional work!

Your duties will include mustering cattle, driving motor bikes and feeding the animals. We can provide full time hours 6 days a week and you will receive the award rates, this will be discussed when you arrive out to the farm.

The positions available are for experienced horse riders to help with cattle mustering (working with cattle an advantage).

You will get accommodation in a separate house with all facilities provided. We would prefer to hire people looking for 3 months work however we can negotiate.

Meals will be provided however it will be self-catered. You will get to travel into the town of Barraba for any other expenses needed.

You do not need to have a vehicle for this position, you can get public transport to the nearby town of Barraba and I will pick you up.

Some machinery experience is an advantage. This position is very popular and we hope to talk to you soon!

This is a great au pair job and highly recommended by the family's current au pair.

The Family lives in the Southern Highland of New South Wales. This is not a remote country location, there are lots of towns and heaps to see and do in this area. It is only 2 hours from Sydney.

This lovely family has 5 children so help is required very much. The au pair is never alone with all 5 children. The job contains helping the lovely mum!

The accommodation is divine and totally separate. The house is gorgeous! Weekends are generally free so it’s possible to return to Sydney if you choose to. There is also the possibility to explore the Southern Highlands area.

There are loads of other au pairs working with families in this area so there is a nice social life included. Minimum stay is 4 months, but 6 months is preferred. The wage offered is negotiable for $300, the working hours are about 35 per week only. Experience with children is essential, babysitting experience is ok too.
