Course Components

Module 1: ESL Theory and Lesson Planning

Module 2: Teaching Speaking

Learn tips and techniques on how to to create and structure innovative and engaging conversation and pronounciation lessons for students of all ages and levels of English.

Module 3: Teaching Reading

Develop strategies and techniques on how to improve students reading abilities with an emphasis on students interests and pushing their language skills.

Module 4: Teaching Listening

Gain in-depth knowledge on the importance of teaching listening techniques and how they can in turn improve grammar, speaking and pronounciation.

Module 5: Teaching Grammar

Learn how to teach grammar to all age groups and skill levels and how to integrate grammar teaching into lesson plans.

Module 6: Classroom Management

Gain an understanding of psychological and cultural factors that affect the classroom and behaviour. Learn about proactive and reactive approaches to classroom management and how to ensure discipline and engagement from students.

Practical Training

Each of the above modules requires various practical application and training, rather than just reading through course material and taking an exam at the end of the course. This is achieved during the course in a number of ways:
